This week Governor DeSantis took a stance against crime in Florida and vowed to do exactly the opposite of what Democrat-run cities and states are doing.
And for good reason.
Crim has been on a rise hitting all-time highs in cities like New York and Chicago.
Liberal policies have really done a number on the crime rate in these cities.

Defund the police, no bail, and bad gun policies are how liberal mayors and governors are helping criminals every day, putting the lives of ordinary citizens and police at risk.
But do they take responsibility?
Nope.

Democratic mayors are raising eyebrows with their responses to the rising crime plaguing major cities like New York City, Chicago and Philadelphia.

The U.S. murder rate rose 30% between 2019 and 2020, according to FBI data – the largest annual increase on record, with Chicago topping the list. At least 12 major cities, including New York, have already set historical murder records in 2021. Robberies and assaults are also on the rise, and retailers in major cities across the country are reporting an uptick in organized smash-and-grab crimes during the busy holiday shopping season.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot faced criticism last week after she responded to the recent flood of robberies in her city by blaming retailers for not better protecting their merchandise.
“We also got to push retailers,” she said during a Dec. 6 event. “I’m disappointed that they are not doing more to take safety and make it a priority. For example, we still have retailers that won’t institute plans like having security officers in their stores, making sure that they’ve got cameras that are actually operational, locking up their merchandise at night. Chaining high-end bags, these purses seem to be something that is attracting a lot of attention on these organized retail theft units.”
Lightfoot’s comments were blasted by retailers as misinformed.

Ok, wait hold on for a second.

Is she actually serious?
Hey idiot, how about you don’t run your city into the ground instead of blaming business owners and retailers.
Like actually?
How do you expect small businesses to hire security guards?
I thought that’s why we paid taxes to have the city step up police spending not defund the police and spend money on liberal-backed agendas like critical race theory and gender studies.

These people are corrupt and they blame the people that work hard to pay taxes and feed into their corruption.
The system has been broken in liberal cities since the 70s and now it is spewing out.

In Philadelphia, where police have reported a 13% increase in homicides compared to 2020, District Attorney Larry Krasner sparked a backlash this week after he claimed the city does not have a crime problem.
“We don’t have a crisis of lawlessness, we don’t have a crisis of crime, we don’t have a crisis of violence,” the district attorney told reporters Monday. “It’s important that we don’t let this become mushy and bleed into the notion that there is some kind of big spike in crime. There isn’t. There is not a big spike in crime. … There is not a big spike in violent crime. Neither one of these things is true.”
Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon also recently came under fire amid a surge in violent smash-and-grab robberies in his city. Critics blamed Gascon’s zero-bail policies for releasing 14 suspects who were allegedly involved in 11 smash-and-grab robberies last month hours after their arrest.
Gascon defended himself during a press conference last week, blasting what he described as “fearmongering and misinformation” regarding crime in L.A. County, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Purple-haired Instacart Driver Smashes Elderly Couple’s “Carefully Budgeted” Groceries Because of Pro-Police Yard Sign

BLAINE, Minnesota – A purple-haired Instacart driver named Tara could face charges after running over an elderly couple’s groceries in their driveway when she saw their pro-police signage. After smashing the groceries, Tara left a derogatory note on their receipt.
The elderly couple had carefully budgeted for their grocery order on December 6, but when they went outside to retrieve their delivery, they found their shopper, Tara, driving back and forth over their groceries, yelling at the couple to check their Christmas wreath.

In the wreath was a horrible message scrawled on the receipt, saying “Instacart doesn’t pay employees… find another slave… f*** the racist police pigs”. The hateful act and explicit message were provoked by a simple sign in the couple’s front yard that supported local law enforcement. The sign read, “Thank You Blaine P.D.”, which apparently sent the driver into a rage.



The message left in the wreath.A Facebook post written by a relative of the victims, Amber Gray, explained how carefully the elderly couple had budgeted for their groceries, saying “This past year has been a rollercoaster of heartache and big life changes for them. Money is tight. Vulnerability is high.”



The pro-police sign in the couple’s front yard.“These people are two of the most beautiful, generous, loving souls I’ve ever known,” Gray continued. “Tara probably doesn’t know how carefully those $50 in groceries were budgeted for. Or how devastating the recent medical diagnosis has been. Or how scared and vulnerable her vile act of hatred made them feel… Supporting law enforcement doesn’t make you a racist. And it absolutely doesn’t give anyone the right to destroy your things or shatter your sense of safety.”

The Blaine Police Department reported that the Instacart shopper has been identified and that charges are “likely in the near future”. The couple has also been fully refunded for their destroyed groceries.
