During the 2006 battle in the U.S. Senate, few fought as hard to defeat legislation which would have granted another amnesty to illegal aliens as did Sen. David Vitter (R-LA). Sen. Vitter is up for re-election this year. Although he since has been somewhat crippled by some unfortunate allegations of personal scandel, he remains ahead of this opponent in polls. Although these are difficult financial times for all, I am sure Sen. Vitter would appreciate any and all contributions to his campaign, especially from those who also fought personally to help defeat the amnesty bill in the Senate.
