Democrats Committing Political Suicide
I thought some of you may be interested in this. I don't know how many of you are watching the votes in the House today on the Cap & Trade amendment in the Climate Change bill, but the Democrats are going to slaughter their party over this energy bill. During the votes, people are calling in and I'm telling you, it's not just the Republicans who are against it. Every Democrat who has called in is against this bill and are saying that if it is passed they will never vote Democrat again. Small business owners are calling in saying this will cause their business to shut down. I doubt that we will see a majority of Democrats in the House next year.

tinybob, I have thought that the Democrats were committing political suicide since the first day Obama took office. His ideas and methods were beyond the pale even for a left of center Democrats. As you know, Cap and Trade is only one in a litany of radical bills that Obama has up his sleeve. It amazes me everyday that his fellow Democrats are following in lockstep with this madness even when they know their party is about to die a "death of a thousand cuts" from the radical direction they are driving this country!

I agree tinybob, they shoot themselves in the foot everytime they are in power.
Moderates like myself agree with some Dem. policies but more and more they are going so far radical socialistic left I and many others are appalled with their antics on Capital Hill.

tinybob - I was listening to C-Span too, and heard the same thing. The majority of callers I heard were actually self-identified Democrats angry about the Cap & Trade. They were vocal about their anger with the DemocRat Party over this. It was great!!!

It's just amazing me that over half the House can't stand prosperity, think people have too much money, and that it will be better when millions more lose their jobs.
