Dems refuse to discard a losing hand

On November 2nd, American's dealt the political cards for the next two years.

When the dealing was done, the Democrats found themselves holding three of a kind: Pelosi, Reid and Obama.

To the shock of both Democrats and Republicans alike, when it came time to discard to try and improve their hand, the Democrats decided to stand pat - holding on to both Pelosi and Reid.

If the Democrats are betting their hand will be strong enough to contend with what the Republicans were dealt, they may want to reconsider. The last time I checked the rules; a full house beats three of a kind every time.

So with all the cards on the table and the Democrats playing an open bluff, let's see if the Republicans have the guts to go "all in" come January 2011.
