Dept. of Justice is Racially Motivated!?

Dept. of Justice is Racially Motivated!?

Schools forced to remove the Ten Commandments - A judge even got disbarred for refusing to remove them!

In any public school today, and many private ones, I fear; you will not find anything remotely religious. Maybe I should be more specific. You will not find anything remotely JUDEO-CHRISTIAN related. In fact, at a local school district here in Southwest Virginia, the Freedom FROM Religion group made a stink about the Ten Commandments being hung on the walls of the schools in the Giles County School District. So, of course, the school district caved, and removed them. As a result over a hundred people protested at a town hall meeting, and the kids at the school protested because they wanted those Ten Commandments put back up. So, the school board replaced them. Then, the lawyers for the Freedom From Religion group found TWO families to agree to be plaintiffs in their case, and they threatened a full lawsuit. Guess what? Yep. Ten Commandments – GONE.

What is particularly sad about this, is that even if you do not believe in God, the Ten Commandments are a GOOD thing; a POSITIVE message for our kids; one that could possibly help them to be better, more respectful young people. But no – the word God is included in a couple of the Commandments, so the whole shebang comes down.

Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in Israel

Now. Imagine, if you will, a devout Christian teacher who wanted to take three weeks off towards the end of the school semester, for a crusade to see The Holy Land in Israel. Imagine that this teacher asks for this time off with little forward notice. What exactly do you think would happen? She would be denied. Exactly. Now – picture this teacher, who feels a driving need to make this holy pilgrimage, quits her job and goes on the pilgrimage anyway. What would you think would happen? Right. Nothing. She would be looking for a job. Period.

Now. Imagine instead, that this teacher is a Math Lab teacher; the only one in the department. It is just weeks before the end of term, and the students are in for some serious testing. This math teacher has only been teaching middle school math for nine months. She makes the request for 19 days off to make a pilgrimage to Mecca. The school district said no; she was critical to the math department, and the students preparing for end of term exams. She quit and went on her pilgrimage anyway. Guess what happens next? Oh yeah, you got it. Lawsuit.

    Hajj - Muslim pilgrimage

In fact, the Department of Justice (that’s right, the DoJ under Obama; the DoJ headed by Eric Holder… THAT Department of Justice) has decided to sue the teeny tiny little school board of Berkeley, Illinois (population, 5,000). They are suing them because they denied Safoorah Khan permission to go on her little pilgrimage. They are claiming that the school district’s decision to deny Khan permission to go on pilgrimage amounted to outright discrimination. They filed a very ‘unusual’ law suit; they are accusing the school district of forcing Khan to decide between her job and her religion.

The school district says that, in fact Khan being denied permission to leave for those 19 days had only to do with them needing their only math lab instructor to be on the premises for that critical ‘end of semester marking period’.

This whole thing is ridiculous. If Khan were named “O’Learyâ€

Well they're showing prejudice toward those who follow Christianity or Judiasm by taking away the Ten Commandments and refusing that Christian lady her trip, for sure. I'm sure there are prejudices against whites in many, many cases. And we all know there's prejudice against the American people in general by many, MANY people in the highest levels of our government! It's all bad, and it needs to stop.
