I believe you listed the wrong link under your story, Chloe.

Personally, I don't buy into this conspiracy theory. Yes, this is only a theory because know one has come out and said they're changing the rules to shut out Ron Paul. This is all one writers opinion. Changing the rules during the game is nothing new in the political world - it's done all the time.

Nope... He is what 1% in the poles???
Come on don't split the votes... We will get nailed again, like Clinton...
First of all, you can't trust these polls. Many of them exclude Ron Paul so even if people wanted to vote for him, he isn't even listed as an option! And I can tell you for a fact that they ARE scared of him. There have been reports that a few people have infiltrated some RP groups offering false advice in order to sabotage the campaign. So he is obviously a threat!

Secondly, the MSM continues to ignore Paul's enormous following. So for those people who get most of their information from cable news shows and not other sources like the internet, I believe they are seriously underestimating Ron Paul. If you consider the following, those percentages don't add up:

Ron Paul leads all the other candidates combined in MeetUp Groups, FaceBook, MySpace, YouTube, and other internet social/ groups. (These are tools that help supporters share infomation, and make plans to meet and promote him offline).

He leads all the Republican Candidates in Straw Poll Wins:

    Ron Paul’s Head-to-Head Records
    (RPWin / RPLose / RPTie):
    Rudy Giuliani 23-3-0
    Mitt Romney 15-11-0
    Fred Thompson 13-12-0
    John McCain 22-3-0
    Mike Huckabee 21-3-1
    Sam Brownback 22-2-1
    Tom Tancredo 23-1-0
    Duncan Hunter 22-2-0

    http://www.ronpaulfan.com/2007/09/24/ro ... raw-polls/

On August 7, Gambling911.com reported that Ron Paul’s odds had been cut to 8 to 1, putting him in a tie with Mitt Romney. By October 1, Paul’s odds were down to 6 to 1, ahead of Romney, and just behind John McCain (5 to 1) and Rudy Giuliani (5 to 1). Fred Thompson is the favorite among Republicans with odds of 4 to 1. http://www.jbs.org/node/5891

"The pundits are still dismissing Ron Paul as a fringe candidate who isn’t "serious." Well, there’s a lot of actual money on the table saying that he is indeed a contender for the GOP nomination...."
    http://www.lewrockwell.com/murphy/murphy123.html

The continual drumbeat in the media that Paul is not a serious contender, though, says more about the media than it says about Ron Paul. Paul espouses a constitutionalist message and is finding that voters are responding.

Odds makers are also saying that Ron Paul is the ONLY GOP candidate that can defeat Hillary Clinton. No other GOP candidate can take away Democratic and Independent votes from her.

The recent 5 million + he raised is coming from individual donors. That means real Americans! Those numbers were down for the other candidates. Oh, they're raising big bucks, but that's coming from corporations and special interest groups. Do you really believe that any of these top tier candidates have our best interests at heart when they're accepting this kind of money???

Cigar, let me ask you the following question. What is more important to you when deciding whom to vote for as president? The success of your party? Or a candidate with principles?

I'm asking this question because I fear that many Americans will still be caught in this trap of putting party over principle, and then voting for the lesser of 2 evils again. How are we ever going to change our country for the better if we continue to do this?

I just think people should have this mind set when voting: Do I want the constitution to be protected and defended? If the answer is yes, vote for Ron Paul. If no, (then God help us), and vote for the any of the other top tier flip-floppers.

A note to Ron Paul Supporters - make sure you register as a Republican even if your state claims to be open because they can change this at any time! Go to: www.primarilypaul.com for full details.

Thanks. It was correct yesterday. They must have changed it. By the way, Ron Paul agrees with you about changing the rules of the game. He said so on Alex Jones earlier today.
