[Listen] “Do Nothing Senate” Holding Up Veterans Bills House Passed – DOA on Harry Reid’s Desk

Rep Jackie Walorski (R-IN) and her House colleagues have grown weary of Obama’s premise for unilateral action of the “do-nothing Congress.” She describes how inaccurate that term is in relation to what the House has been doing, particularly on the issue of veterans’ care.
She exposes the “do-nothing Senate,” led by Democrat Harry Reid as the legislative graveyard where all of their work goes to die.
The House has passed a dozen reform bills over the last 18 months or so and all of them have sat untouched in the Senate under Harry Reid’s “leadership.”
Maybe his job is to sit on everything he can in order to give Obama a premise upon which to take dictatorial action. If so, that is criminal. If not, his failure to act is at least immoral and reprehensible.
Walorski, a member of the House Veteran’s Affairs Committee expressed her views in a Wednesday interview on WMAL radio in Washington, DC.
She expresses hope that now, with the national attention focused on the issue of veterans and their care, Harry Reid will be forced to do his job and bring the legislation up for consideration and get things moving once again.
