Thread: Dodd Diagnosed With Prostate Cancer

Sen. Christopher Dodd has been diagnosed with early-state prostate cancer, FOX News has confirmed.

The Connecticut Democrat is scheduled to have surgery during the Senate's August recess, the Hartford Courant reported Friday.

Dodd told the newspaper he expects to be back at work after a "brief recuperation" at home.

Dodd will hold a news conference Friday at 2 p.m. in Connecticut to announce his prognosis.

"He'll be fine," sources told FOX News.

But seriously......under the obama care plan, how many men his age will NOT be "just fine" because they either were not diagnosed on time or "the committee" decided that they were not "worthy" of treatment?

I honestly hope that people like Dodd undergo these experiences and by virtue of that wake up to the reality of what they are actually doing to the average American citizen.

Minus the part about speculation of Dodd's head and brains being located south of his equator, of course,........ this might just be a great example to use in writing to our reps in urging them to put the brakes on this fanatasy concocted by Lord of the Things and his band of merry morons.

I don't think he should be treated until he has had his mandatory "end of life" options explained to him. Does he have a will? Does he have a living will? Does he have a will of his own? Is he an organ donor? Is he aware of the cost of his treatment, and the extremely negative impact it has on younger and worthier members of Congress and the cost of their insurance? Has he considered just getting out of the way ? Is he aware of how cheap hospice is compared to long term cancer treatment and recovery? Should he not set an example for the rest of us?
