Sen. John McCain, talks to media in Houston, Texas.
    FROM CNN’s Jack Cafferty:

Here’s something you may not know about John McCain: He was born in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936. His father was stationed there in the Navy.

The New York Times reports the circumstances surrounding McCain’s birth raise questions about his ability to become president since our founding fathers specifically said only a “natural-born citizenâ€

I'm pretty sure that this is a dead issue. I think that he's constitutionally eligible to run for president.

60 Illegals fired from Reidsville NC plant

60 illegals aliens were fired from Whiteridge Plastics in Reidsville, NC.Myers coorperation based in akron ,Ohio gained ownership in January of this year and did an audit and found fault with I-9 forms, false SS# and phoney documents submitted for employment by illegals.Max Barton came down and cleaned house much to his credit.I called the company and asked how many employee the plant had. They were very defensive and said that was 'private information'.I did a search and found that in 2004 they had 85 employees but had a media campaign promoting the plant in places as far as New York how they were going to help 'local community 'by expanding to an extra 16 employersI guess it helped Reisville by not having 60 illegal aliens on welfare. The manager Scott Mcneil had no comment .Maybe Ice might want to ask him and others who hired illegals or the temp agency they used a few questions. If you live in Reidsville NC area and are looking for work call 888-424-0020 or 336-342-1200.The website is www.whiteridgeplastics.com.

Sorry.....I am one that demands 100% accuracy. I hate loopholes and exceptions and considerations.

I agree. Although I'm no fan of McCain U.S. Military bases are U.S. territory. Children of American citizens who are born there are citizens of the USA.....period. The Times is undercutting its own credibility more everyday.

McCain is not an American, but unfortunately he is a US citizen. Military bases and embassies are soveriegn territory.
