We were the first state to go on the map not voting for Obama. Guess it's payback time. Our troops will be servants.

Louisville will be the site of a two-week hospitality service training program for a group of Kentucky Army National Guard soldiers heading for Iraq.

The 617th Military Police Company will use its training to manage a military-run hotel for government officials and international dignitaries during Operation New Dawn, according to a news release.

Brown Hotel management will oversee the training of more than 30 soldiers and command staff from the unit from June 23 through July 7. Sessions will focus on conference room setup and events, housekeeping, restaurant and catering service, dinner preparation, etiquette and facilities maintenance.

The soldiers’ deployment to Iraq is part of the largest mobilization of the Kentucky Army National Guard since World War II, according to the release.
