Propaganda posters for War Socialism

Give George W. Bush key passages from Wilson's speeches to read, and few would recognize that almost a century had passed. Nor should this surprise us, [f]or while the skeptics can provide realism, they can't provide hope. ~ Barry Gewen, "Forget the Founding Fathers" http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/05/books ... wanted=all

What is war socialism? In a word, "CHANGE." It is using war as a shameless pretext or a Machiavellian foreign-policy strategy to expand government control over foreign and domestic economies. Even Tom Hayden, a '60s socialist radical, realizes that our present war policy in Libya was driven by feminist "humanitarian hawks" – Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice and National Security Council special adviser to Obama on human rights Samantha Power. Quoting Power Hayden wrote: http://theragblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/ ... o-war.html

"The United States must also be prepared to risk the lives of its soldiers" to stop the threat of genocide. ... She [Samantha Power] condemned Western "appeasement" of dictators. She believed that "the battle to stop genocide has been repeatedly lost in the realm of domestic politics." In her mind, domestic concerns like discrimination and unemployment are secondary to foreign policy crises, a common attitude in the national security circles she was entering.

The progressive revolution will make little sense unless you view it through the long historical lens of "perpetual revolution" coined by communist forefather Leon Trotsky, who understood the idea that Hitler and Lenin/Stalin were essentially two sides of the same coin. Even the German Communists of the 1920s knew they were operating under the Moscow-provided motto, "After Hitler, we take over." Or, "First Brown, then Red."

War socialism perpetrated by the Soros-Obama-Power trinity isn't new. In his outstanding chapter on President Woodrow Wilson, Jonah Goldberg eloquently wrote in "Liberal Fascism" how interconnected the progressive revolution was to the fascist revolution. This was precisely the totalizing social operation and mass appeal of Marxism and Nazism. Hitler made it clear that his goal was to have no dividing lines between rich and poor. "The [Nazi] party was intending to change the whole concept of labour relations," wrote a young German lawyer who wanted to study abroad, "based on the principle of co-determination and shared responsibility between management and workers. I knew it was Utopian, but I believed in it with all my heart. … Hitler's promises of a caring but disciplined socialism fell on very receptive ears."

In speech after speech Hitler constantly promoted Nazism as overcoming the eternal class struggle: "There it is class against class, brother against brother. We have chosen the other route: Rather than to wrench you apart, we have brought you together," Hitler said. Robert Ley, the chief of the Nazis' German Labor Front wrote, "We are the first country in Europe to overcome the class struggle." To the Nazi mind it was irrelevant that the rhetoric contradicted the reality because their Weltanschauung (worldview) was utterly mired in utopian idealism, racism and genocide. To the Marxists, Nazis and progressives, the triumph of the ends over the means was supreme, and the mountain of corpses you had to climb over to reach that ultimate goal was merely collateral damage. All that mattered was the Final Solution.

The Nazi slogan "The common good before the private good" was the genocidal price progressives and fascists were honored to pay. "Individualism," declared Lyman Abbott, the editor of the Outlook, "is the characteristic of simple barbarism, not of republican civilization." This is the Nazi idea of the Volksgemeinschaft – "people's community," or national community.

If Hitler and the Nazis had their Swiss bankers and their amoral businessmen like I.G. Farben, the makers of Zyklon B, the chemical primarily used to gas millions of Jews and Christians during World War II in the name of Social Darwinism's survival of the fittest, then today we have our socialist billionaire financier, George Soros, who is aggressively promoting his neo-fascist right to "penetrate nation-states' borders." Soros outlined the parameters of his Responsibility to Protect doctrine in a 2004 Foreign Policy magazine article entitled "The People's Sovereignty: How a New Twist on an Old Idea Can Protect the World's Most Vulnerable Populations."

"True sovereignty belongs to the people, who in turn delegate it to their governments," proclaimed Soros. "If governments abuse the authority entrusted to them and citizens have no opportunity to correct such abuses, outside interference [i.e., war socialism] is justified. By specifying that sovereignty is based on the people, the international community can penetrate nation-states' borders to protect the rights of citizens," Soros wrote.

"In particular, the principle of the people's sovereignty can help solve two modern challenges: the obstacles to delivering aid effectively to sovereign states, and the obstacles to global collective action dealing with states experiencing internal conflict," argued Soros. This doctrine is the driving force behind Obama's continuation of the war in Iraq, the escalation of the war in Afghanistan, the de facto war in Pakistan with increased drone attacks and the new non-wars in Libya and possibly Israel.

"[W]ar socialism has been regarded as sufficiently argued for and justified with reference mostly to the emergency created by the war. In war, the inadequate free economy supposedly cannot be allowed to exist any longer," wrote Ludwig Von Mises. "Into its place must step something more perfect, the administered [socialist] economy. Whether or not one should return after the war to the 'un-German' [capitalist] system of individualism was said to be another question that could be answered in different ways."

America, we are existentially living in the answer to that question under the Soros-Obama-Power Responsibility to Protect doctrine, which is fundamentally the same as the Wilson-FDR-LBJ war socialism doctrine, both of which plunge the world into perpetual war as a diabolical means to achieve the same end – deconstruction of private property, capitalism and Christianity and the establishment of global hegemony under Democratic Socialism, which is essentially communism.

Study the propaganda posters above. The fascists have not changed strategies. Nach Hitler, kommen wir means "After Hitler, we [Communists] take over." Or, "First Brown, then Red."
