The Equality Act defies the purpose of anti-discrimination laws. The original Civil Rights Act was enacted to protect African-Americans from being denied access to material goods and services. The Equality Act, by contrast, would be used as a sword to attack people and force them to adopt new ideologies about human sexuality. This extreme and dangerous legislation would create unprecedented harms to businesses, charities, medical professionals, women and children, and entire families. The so-called ‘Equality Act’ is nothing more than a set up for Christians. It is a way for the Left to say “Obey the law or go to jail.” Very similar to what is happening to Christians all over the world. But our brethren are being killed. We are not there yet.

American Christians think that we are somehow immune from persecution. We are not. This Equality Act may not become law now, but it will one day. We will be placed in jail or re-education camps or worse.

One thing I will say about the Left – they are persistent in their persecution of Christians and Conservatives. Just for the record, you can’t be a Christian Liberal. That is an oxymoron. The Left are frustrated right now. You see, having Donald Trump in the White House just puts a kink in any and all plans they have in their attempt to squash their perceived enemies.
These people are unsaved and don’t have the ability to see that they are being used by the wicked one himself – Satan. We should be praying for our government officials every day.

Equality Act

This bill prohibits discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity in areas including public accommodations and facilities, education, federal funding, employment, housing, credit, and the jury system. Specifically, the bill defines and includes sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity among the prohibited categories of discrimination or segregation.
The bill expands the definition of public accommodations to include places or establishments that provide (1) exhibitions, recreation, exercise, amusement, gatherings, or displays; (2) goods, services, or programs; and (3) transportation services.
The bill allows the Department of Justice to intervene in equal protection actions in federal court on account of sexual orientation or gender identity. The bill prohibits an individual from being denied access to a shared facility, including a restroom, a locker room, and a dressing room, that is in accordance with the individual’s gender identity. source

Most Americans don’t want a nationwide bathroom requirement, health care mandate, or “preferred pronoun” law based on gender identity, but congressional Democrats seem to think it’s time to impose them.
Nancy Pelosi delivered Wednesday on her promise to introduce the so-called Equality Act, which would elevate sexual orientation and gender identity to protected classes in federal anti-discrimination law. Although that may sound nice in theory, in practice sexual orientation and gender identity policies at the state and local level have caused profound harms to Americans from all walks of life.
How might a sexual orientation and gender identity law on the federal level, as introduced in the House and Senate, affect you and your community? Here are seven ways:
1. It would penalize Americans who don’t affirm new sexual norms or gender ideology.

Jack Phillips’ case went all the way to the Supreme Court after the Colorado Civil Rights Commission accused the bakery owner of discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation when the self-described cake artist declined to create a custom cake to celebrate a same-sex wedding.
The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, but left the law in question, the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, intact. Until last week, Phillips was in court again defending himself against the same agency under the same law.
The day after the Supreme Court ruled in Phillips’ case, Autumn Scardina, a lawyer who identifies as transgender, requested that he create a “gender transition cake.” After Phillips declined, the state Civil Rights Commission found probable cause under the law that the baker had discriminated on the basis of gender identity.
Thankfully, the commission last week dropped the case, and Phillips agreed to drop his own lawsuit accusing the state agency of harassing him for his Christian beliefs. Phillips is just one of many Americans who have lost income because of their belief that marriage is between one man and one woman. Others cases involve florists, bakers, photographers, wedding venue owners, videographers, web designers, calligraphers, and public servants.
These cases are just the beginning. The same policies used to silence disagreement over marriage can be used to silence disagreement over the biological reality of sex.

Now, do you really think that the government will enforce this on Muslim owned bakeries? You know the answer to that!

Just as a side note, yesterday I called one of the largest Muslim owned bakeries in our area. I asked the woman who answered if they made wedding cakes. Her answer to me was this “We no longer make wedding cakes.” I thought to myself that this was wisdom on the part of the owner of the bakery.

2. It would compel speech.

Virginia high school teacher Peter Vlaming lost his job for something he did not say. A county school board voted unanimously to fire the veteran teacher over the objections of his students after he refused to comply with administrators’ orders to use masculine pronouns in referring to a female student who identifies as transgender.
Vlaming did his best to accommodate the student without violating his religious belief that God created human beings male and female, using the student’s new name and simply refraining from using pronouns altogether.
Unfortunately, the school still considered this a violation of its anti-discrimination policy.
Incidents like these would increase under federal policy proposed in the Equality Act. Both federal and private employers could face costly lawsuits if they fail to implement strict preferred pronoun policies. Employees could be disciplined if they fail to comply, regardless of their scientific or moral objections.
3. It could shut down charities.

Foster care and adoption agencies, drug rehabilitation centers, and homeless centers already face challenges under state and local policies on sexual orientation and gender identity. In Philadelphia, just days after the city put out an urgent call for 300 additional families to foster children, the city halted child placements by Catholic Social Services because of the organization’s belief that every child deserves both a mother and a father.
Although same-sex couples have the opportunity to foster children through the state or every other agency in Philadelphia, the city canceled its contract with Catholic Social Services. The agency’s approved foster homes remain available while children languish on the waiting list.
A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would make this situation a national phenomenon, which would spell disaster for the 437,500 children in foster care nationwide. Other charities would be affected, too.
In Anchorage, Alaska, a biological male born Timothy Paul Coyle goes by the name of Samantha Amanda Coyle. On two occasions, Coyle tried to gain access to the city’s Downtown Soup Kitchen Hope Center, a shelter for homeless, abused, and trafficked women.
In one attempt, authorities said, Coyle was inebriated and had gotten into a fight with a staffer at another shelter, so Hope Center staff paid Coyle’s fare to the emergency room to receive medical attention. Coyle sued the center for “gender identity discrimination.”
A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law could force any social service organization to open up private facilities—including single-sex bathrooms, showers, and sleeping areas—to members of the opposite sex.

4. It would allow more biological males to defeat girls in sports.

Two biological males who identify and compete as women easily defeated all of their female competitors in an event at the Connecticut State Track Championships. Transgender athlete Terry Miller broke the state record in the girls’100-meter dash. Andraya Yearwood, also transgender, took second place.
Selina Soule, a female runner, not only lost to the biological males in the championships but also lost out on valuable opportunities to be seen by college coaches and chosen for scholarships.
Soule said about the 100-meter event: “We all know the outcome of the race before it even starts; it’s demoralizing.”
A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would defeat the purpose of Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, which is supposed to guarantee women equal educational and athletic opportunities.
Under radical gender identity policies, female athletes have sustained gruesome injuries at the hands of male competitors. In high school wrestling, female athletes have forfeited rather than compete against transgender athletes on testosterone. A federal law could set girls’ and women’s sports back permanently at every level.
5. It could be used to coerce medical professionals.

Under state sexual orientation and gender identity laws, individuals who identify as transgender have sued Catholic hospitals in California and New Jersey for declining to perform hysterectomies on otherwise healthy women who wanted to pursue gender transition.
If these lawsuits succeed, medical professionals would be pressured to treat patients according to ideology rather than their best medical judgment. The Obama administration tried to coerce medical professionals into offering transition-affirming therapies through a regulation in the Affordable Care Act, popularly known as Obamacare.
That move was stopped in the 11th hour by a federal judge. However, that could all be set back in motion if a national law imposes a nationwide health care mandate regarding gender identity.

6. It could lead to more parents losing custody of their children.

The politicization of medicine according to gender ideology will create more conflicts among parents, doctors, and the government. A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would jeopardize parental rights nationwide.
In fact, the current issue of the American Journal of Bioethics includes an article arguing that the state should overrule the parents of transgender children who do not consent to give them puberty-blocking drugs.

This has already happened. In Ohio, a judge removed a biological girl from her parents’ custody after they declined to help her “transition” to male with testosterone supplements.

After the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital’s Transgender Health Clinic recommended these treatments for the girl’s gender dysphoria, the parents wanted to pursue counseling instead. Then the county’s family services agency charged the parents with abuse and neglect, and the judge terminated their custody.
Similar cases are proceeding through the courts with children as young as 6 years old.
Meanwhile, studies show that 80 to 95 percent of children no longer experience gender dysphoria after puberty. Politicizing medicine could have serious consequences for children who are exposed to the unnecessary medical risks of drastic therapies. A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would make these cases more common.
7. It would enable sexual assault.

A complaint under investigation by federal education officials alleges that a boy who identifies as “gender fluid” at Oakhurst Elementary School in Decatur, Georgia, sexually assaulted Pascha Thomas’ 5-year-old daughter in a girls’ restroom. The boy had access to the girls’ restroom because of Decatur City Schools’ transgender restroom policy.
School authorities refused to change the policy even after Thomas reported the assault. Eventually, she decided to remove her daughter from school for the girl’s emotional well-being and physical safety.
A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would give male sexual predators who self-identify as females access to private facilities, increasing the likelihood of these tragic incidents. It could also make victims less likely to report sexual misconduct and police less likely to get involved, for fear of being accused of discrimination.
The proposed Equality Act could impose a nationwide bathroom policy that would leave women and children in particular vulnerable to predators. It actually would promote inequality by elevating the ideologies of special-interest groups to the level of protected groups in civil rights law.

The concerted push for the public to accept the notion that men can become women by an act of will, perhaps with the aid of hormones and surgery, has always struck me as a measure intended to ratify mind control by means of institutional pressure and ostracism of non-compliant people. The fact that transgenderism is blatant scientific nonsense makes the exercise all the more important. A subject population that can be made to assent to such nonsense will accept totalitarianism as it creeps up.

That’s why until now I have not been able to find any poll asking the public what it thinks. The danger in mass mind control exercises is that people will recognize they are not alone in calling BS on what the media, the deep thinkers, and the activists tell them. But, as I expected, it turns out that a majority of the public isn’t buying the party line that the media, the education establishment, Hollywood, and the entire arts and culture establishment fanatically push.

Matt Margolis writes at PJ Media:

In a poll released Tuesday, Rasmussen reveals that “just 28% of American Adults favor allowing transgender students to participate on the sports team of the gender they identify with, letting biological males, for example, play girls’ sports.” Roughly the same number, 31 percent, favor allowing transgender students to use bathrooms of the opposite biological sex.
This is a policy that Republicans are in the mainstream, while Democrats are not. “Seventy-seven percent (77%) of Republicans and 52% of those not affiliated with either major political party oppose allowing transgender students on the teams of the gender they identify with,” according to Rasmussen. “Democrats support such a policy by a 43% to 36% margin, with 21% undecided. There’s a similar partisan breakdown when it comes to bathroom policy.”

As Margolis points out, the Orwellian-labeled “Equality Act” just passed the House of Representatives with 8 GOP votes, and would compel people to accept the claims of transgenders in bathrooms, sports, and employment.

"This is an all-out assault on parental rights, on the family, and on the millions of people of faith in this country," Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council (FRC), said in a statement. "The legislation goes far beyond just quarantining faith behind the four walls of a house of worship. This act quarantines faith within your mind and says that's where it must stay."
"It creates a world that punishes those who exercise their freedom to believe and live according to those beliefs. No institution or person of faith, be it a school, church, synagogue, mosque, business, or non-profit will escape its Orwellian reach," he warned. "The Religious Freedom Restoration Act will be committed to the 'memory hole.' We will then experience a catastrophic loss of religious freedom in America, and, as a result, every American, those who believe and do not believe, will suffer the consequences."
Yet the act may also remove religious freedom protections for health care providers. Without explicit protections written in the bill, The Equality Act would force health care providers to perform abortions if a woman asks for them. The bill prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, defined as including "pregnancy, childbirth, or a related medical condition," including abortion.
"The egregiously misnamed 'Equality Act' is the latest back-door effort by extremists to expand abortion on demand through birth, funded with taxpayer dollars," former Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, vice president of governmental affairs at the pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List, said in a statement. "The bill’s definition of sex discrimination has already been interpreted by courts to put abortion in the same category as pregnancy and childbirth. As written, it could roll back decades of pro-life policy on the state and federal level, as well as forcing health care workers and entities to participate in abortion."

Margolis believes that this is an opportunity for the GOP:

Every single Democrat supported the bill, and 2020 Democrats were falling all over each other to declare their support for it, including the “centrist” Joe Biden. The misnamed “Equality Act” would codify the rights of biological men to use bathrooms and changing rooms with girls, and play on their sports teams.
The American people are clearly not cool with having boys playing on girls' teams, or changing in front of little girls. Yet, Democrats endorse this madness wholeheartedly. We are always one election away from this insanity becoming the law of the land. The so-called Equality Act may not pass the Senate in 2019, but if Trump doesn’t win reelection in 2020, and Democrats gain control of the Senate, our wives, sisters, and daughters, will all be potential victims of radical policies like the “Equality Act” — be it by the invasion of privacy and safety in bathrooms, or in the realm of competitive sports, where biological males can easily power over their female counterparts.

It is important that compassion for people experiencing strong feelings that they are the opposite sex be part of the GOP message. If someone wants to live and act as the opposite sex, that’s fine. They deserve our sympathy for their psychological travails. But that freedom to live as the opposite sex ends at the bathroom door and the athletic field. The other side is just waiting to paint is as cruel bigots. But what about the girls and women who no longer have privacy and who longer have athletic competitions that they can win? They deserve compassion, too, and they are far more numerous than people who want to be transgender.

Just before Christmas in 1971, as Canadian Federal legislators were leaving Parliament for home, the Canadian branch of the Jewish “Anti-Defamation League” (ADL) swiftly mustered passage of its national hate crimes law. Since then the “Canadian Human Rights Act” and its Sec. 319 have proven to be an unstoppable fountain of persecution and intimidation of Canadian Christians and free thinkers. Sec. 319 makes it a “hate crime” for any Canadian to publicly criticize Homosexuality. No pastor is allowed to read publicly any Bible passage critical of sodomy and express agreement with it. If he does he can face thousands of dollars in fines and years in prison. If a Christian is arrested for such “intimidation” against Gays he now faces a virtually unwinnable case in hostile Provincial and Federal courts. In 2005 the average cost of defending oneself from a hate crimes charge in Canada was $175,000. ADL / SPLC WANT A “CANADIAN” HATE LAW FOR AMERICA
Right now, ADL and “ADL South”, the Jewish Southern Poverty Law Center, are counting on quick passage of their newest “mega” hate crimes bill, the “Equality Act”, HR 5. In 2009 ADL finally passed its national U.S. hate crimes law, “The Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act”. Yet our present hate law doesn’t end free speech to the extent of its Canadian relative. This is because our First Amendment still protects unpopular, vulgar, even bigoted and hateful speech. As long as speech is true and does not cause riot or imminent danger , such as shouting “fire” in a crowded theatre, America cannot criminalize it.But the “Equality Act”, just like the Canadian hate law will criminalize anyone in business, education, and religious ministry whose speech is alleged to verbally “intimidate” or “harass” Gays because of their “sexual orientation”.
If ratified by Congress and signed by President Trump, the new protections of the “Equality Act” will be united with stiff penalties of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Thus, as in Canada, every minister who pubicly teaches the Bible’s condemnations of homosexuallity could be open to arrest. Even worse, as Rep. Louis Gohmert has warned, Title 18 sec.2a of the 1968 civil rights act states that if a pastor’s or Christian broadcaster’s words incite an anti-homosexual listener to commit a hate crime against a Gay, they will be prosecuted to the same extent as the convicted
hate criminal (which can mean triple penalties). Under HR5 every Christian landlord or business owner who verbally testifies to a homosexual tenant or employee that their sexual lifestyle is against God’s law will be playing with fire. If the homosexual complains that he or she is “emotionally devastated” by even one reproof, victim of a “hostile work environment”, it’s highly likely under HR5 that the “speech criminal” would be convicted. SPLC’s website gives locations of “Hate Groups” in America. Twenty five miles from me in Vancouver, Washington, is, SPLC alleges, a “Hate Group”. It amounts to a church which SPLC says teaches that Homosexuality is a sin.
“EQUALITY ACT” THREATENS EVERYONE’S RIGHTS

Gone will be the right of a Christian or secular college to exclude male or female transvestites from restrooms or showers of the opposite sex. Property owners cannot refuse sale or rental to Gays because of their sexual orientation. Nor can a church or Christian institution (or summer camp) refuse to hire a qualified Homosexual. So far, churches have been able to claim “Religious exemption” to anti-sex discrimination statutes. There are no religious exemptions under the “Equality” act.

Now is your date with destiny. Lovers of freedom must stop the “Equality Act” which is moving forward rapidly. But to do that they must first defeat the “Equality Act”, which is moving forward rapidly. Call your Republican House member at 1-202-224-3121. Say this: “ Please vote against the “Equality Act” HR5. It will help end free speech for Christians, making them criminals if they crtiticize homosexuallity”. Why are Jewish attack groups such as ADL/SPLC always in the forefront of efforts to undermine Christian rights and values? As is well known, ADL and many Jewish activists and organizations played a pivotal role in creation and passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. But it has become
clear that this landmark legislation,originally portrayed as only granting advantages and special protections to blacks, was really a foundation upon which preferential rights for women, Latinos and homosexuals could be established. ADL says it now wants Jews also provided special status and protection under the Civil Rights Act. It says the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Education now enforce special protections for Jews under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. What is the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act Really All About? - ADL. Such was also decreed in 2018, at least in employment, by U.S. Magistrate Mark Hornsby. U.S. court rules Jews are protected 'race' under Civil Rights Act of 1964.
If Jews acquire full protection as a “protected class” in America it will mean that if a Jew complains to the government that he has suffered “acute emotional trauma” as a result of “anti semitic” discrimination or criticism of his race or religion he may prompt a federal investigation. If the government agrees, the defendant will have to retain the best lawyer he can find. This step alone could probably cost tens of thousands of dollars. The alternative might be harsh penalties under the Civil Rights Act. ADL has boasted that it conceived the whole idea of “anti-hate” legislation primarily to come to the defense of “identifiable groups” who are prone to discrimination. But does this strongly pro-abortion activist group with no sympathy for mankind in the womb really bleed with compassion for blacks and homosexuals? I don’t think so. I believe that from it’s beginning ADL coveted something much more toward its own interests: special Federal protection for Jews from persecution.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PASS A U.S. “END ANTI-SEMITISM” BILL?
The answer is “yes”. The “Equality Act” asserts it is hateful and criminal to verbally denigrate an employee or rentor who cannot help being what he or she is, (primarily homosexual). If a Federal law can be established upholding the above, then it can also uphold the premise that it is criminal to denigrate Jews, matters Jewish, and the State of Israel, who also cannot help being what they are. When can we expect such Orwellian legislation? It is already here, at least in its first stage . In 2016 ADL’s “Anti Semitism Awareness Act” passed the Senate but, because of lack of time, died in the House. In March 2019 it was again introduced in the Senate but awaits action in committee. This bill, S852, asserts that the U.S. Department of Education should be authorized to determine if speech against Israel on college campuses has crossed from “legitimate criticism” of Israel to “anti semitic hate speech” (possibly indictable under the “Equality Act”.
HOW ADL CAN MAKE FREE SPEECH ILLEGAL
Actual historic anti semitism is easy to define. It is the racist belief that Jews are, because of genetics, degenerate and subversive. It is not, however, anti semitic to criticize the bad behavior of evil Jews, Jewish leaders, or the State of Israel, as did Jesus. What ADL wants to do through both these bills working together is this: on one hand ADL postures as upholding the First Amendment right to “harsh”, even “hateful” speech. On the other, ADL contends that there exist a number of “anti semitic hate speech” topics which trigger such emotional distress in Jews that, ,while legal, constitute “intimidation” and “harassment” of Jews. As such, ADL hopes to make those who publicly discuss these topics, “traumatizing” Jews, indictable under the “Equality Act”. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF IT BECOMES ILLEGAL TO CRITICIZE JEWS?
About sixty nations enforce some kind of ADL hate law. Many, like Canada, the UK, Holland and Scandinavia,, Australia, etc. already prosecute public critics of Jews and Judaism. Such persecution is assisted by increasingly nebulous official definitions of antisemitism. “Webster's New Twentieth Century Dictionary” says antisemitism includes “fearing Jews and Jewish things”.(Israel?) Of course, to my knowledge, no ADL hate law country includes as a specially protected group, Christian pro lifers. They are subject to every manner of verbal abuse (and sometimes physical) while picketing abortion mills. Yet no ADL hate law country includes Christians as a specially protected group on par with Jews. They are not empowered to bring the government to their aid should they be criticized or discriminated against “because of what they are”. Why? It’s because ADL has abundantly demonstrated that through its hate laws it intends to persecute, weaken, and discriminate against Christianity, not build it up. RISE OF BABYLON THE GREAT
The book of Revelation describes the earth in the end times as a one world confederacy ruled by a scarlet woman with the title on her forehead: “BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” She sits astride the “Beast,” or anti-Christ, (Rev. 17,1. Who is this woman? Does she already exist? In at least 85 clear old testament scriptures, rebellious Israel is identified as a spiritual harlot. She has a “whore’s forehead”. (Jer.3,3), just as in Revelation. Originally, Israel was the first to be honored with the privilege of spiritual union with God as Yahweh’s (Christ’s) spiritual bride. But she was also first to prostitute that relationship. As such she became the “Mother” of spiritual whordom. CHRISTIANS ARE COMMANDED TO REPROVE
Nothing corrupts an individual or nation more than being granted freedom from criticism. This is what turned Caligula, Nero, Stalin and Hitler into homicidal monsters. Scripture commands all Christians to “Reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and doctrine”. (ll Tim.4.2) (James 2:1) says we should do it “without respect of persons”. This means that Christians are forbidden to make Jews or Israel into a “sacred cow”, to be protected from Holy Spirit led, constructive rebuke or criticism. Yet, tragically, a ban on criticism of Jews and Israel is what Zionist evangelicals, not scripturally, have eagerly laid upon themselves for more than a century. They believe that reproving “God’s chosen people” will incur a divine curse upon the reprover. As a result they have helped build up the walls of Babylon the Great. Revelation tells us the harlot will eventually turn with fury upon Christians, “drunk with the blood of the saints.” (Rev. 17.6). And she will probably do it with the ADL hate laws which are being enacted today. Jesus said that in the last days Christians would be “delivered up to the synagogues” to be tried. (Luke 2:12) Again, the anti-Christian legal foundation created by ADL may well help “wear out the saints”. (Daniel 7:25) The blindness of the church today to the obvious linkage between Babylon the Great and Israel powerfully suggests we are living in those days in which Christ predicted “even the very elect, if possible, will be deceived”. (Matt. 24:24)
TAKE ACTION!
Now is your date with destiny. Lovers of freedom must stop the “Anti Semitism Awareness Act”, S852. But to do that they must first defeat the “Equality Act”, which is moving forward rapidly. Call your Republican House member at 1-202-224-3121. Say this: “ Please vote against the
“Equality Act” HR5. It will help end free speech for Christians, making them criminals if they crtiticize homosexuallity”. If HR5 Passes the the House, immediately call Republican members of the Senate, preferably all of them. P.S. Years ago a Christian living in northern Canada called me saying that he had been quietly passing out gospel tracts in his small town, when a policeman approached , the officer told him it was now illegal to “proselytize” in that Province. The plight of authentic Christian Canadians soberly reminds us that by opposing the “Equality” bill we are fighting for the very existence of Christianity.

SENATE NEW FORUM FOR "EQUALITY" BILL DEBATE

The “Equality” bill, HR5, passed the U.S. House of Representatives, 236-173. Eight Republicans joined the Democrat majority. As of this writing it has not been announced what preliminary Senate committee(s) it will enter. After at least one hearing, the Bill, S788, will move into the Senate Judiciary Committee, then to debate and vote in the Senate.
The surprising betrayal by eight House Republicans is a sobering reminder that the fragile Republican Senate majority, (51-49, which includes two independents), might tip from solid opposition to the “Equality” bill. Already, at least one Republican Senator, Susan Collins, supports the “Equality” bill.

TAKE ACTION!

Lovers of free speech must call the offices of Republican Senators from their State. If you don’t know who they are, Google “Republican Senators from your State”, or call your local Library. But if you really want to fight for free speech you can call all the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee: Graham, Sasse, Kennedy, Grassley Hawley Blackburn, Cornyn, Tillis, Lee, Ernst, Cruz, Crapo. Of course nothing prevents you from calling all Republicans in the U.S. Senate.
Call the Congress Hotline at 1-202-224-3121 and ask for a Senator’s office. I suggest you say: “Please don't vote for the “Equality Act” S788. It will help end free speech for Christians making them criminals if they criticize Homosexuality”
Don’t fall for the lie that we have nothing to fear, since President Trump will veto it if it passes the Senate. Passage by both Houses of Congress tremendously increases the “Equality” bill’s chances of eventually becoming law. This could happen when, possibly, a Hillary or Biden sits in the White House after the 2020 elections.
