Student appeals dismissal over UCSD’s English policy

LA JOLLA — A 19-year-old University of California San Diego student with a 3.2 GPA is contesting the university’s decision to dismiss him for failing to meet an English proficiency requirement.
Andrew Kubal, an A-plus physics student, was a week into his second year of classes at UCSD when he received a Sept. 29 email informing him that he was dismissed for failing to meet the requirement last year.
“I moved in, I enrolled in my classes, I bought my books. I am going to my classes, studying,â€NO AMNESTY
Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

For now, Kubal, an Eagle Scout who said he got A’s and B’s in high school English, is continuing to go to class at UCSD, hoping officials will change their minds.
“I think I’ll keep going to class until on-campus housing kicks me out,â€
