Thread: Obama cover up about Blago?

This is so bizarre, it's like Vulcan Mind Control. Station KHQA went so far as to take down a news webpage and (get this) expunge even the Google cache that should have retained it. (Well-known fact: Google's CEO has been a big-time Obama supporter from the beginning and his company offers a censored search service in China.)

Maybe the reporters goofed up in reporting that Blago and Obama had met to discuss the Senate vacancy, but isn't the proper way to correct an error just print a retraction? Bloggers rescued screenshots before the pages got scrubbed and wrote about the incident

The printed reports about what someone says are never as good as the actual videos (thank you, YouTube!) because you can catch halting, and pauses, and word substitutions which the reporters' written versions scrub down, to give only clean syntax to a reader.

This is a little overdramatic (some YouTube "auteur") but the video clip has faithful footages of Obama being asked about Blago on Tuesday and of David Axelrod answering a question in an interview in late November, before Blago was about as desirable as an STD.

Things to look for ...

"I had no contact with the governor wha-uhhh or his office" (Was he about to say WHATSOEVER .... whoops, a lie ... and he stopped himself with only half the word uttered?)

"and so we were not ... I was not aware of what was happening" (He said "we" but then figured he better say "I" so he has room to cut loose the middle men running to Blago, since they might have been wiretapped, for all he knows.)

Nobody knows why the FBI and U.S. Attorney didn't let this play out until actual money changed hands and a completed crime occurred. They can probably press conspiracy and solicitation of bribery charges, but nothing seals the deal and catches more crooks than letting the $$ change hands. It's like when orders came from very high up, warning officials not to deport Obama's aunt who was illegally in the U.S. and living in public housing in Boston.

Best comment (cynical humor, but so true) from that blog linked above was this one:
"The Best and Brightest are maneuvering themselves to preside over the second coming of FDR. The biggest, but by far not the only, challenge they fail to recognize is that the majority of the country have become entitlement weenies. The B & B have slaved for generations to produce the Governable Populace. Congratulations, f**ktards. Your 52% is all yours. They are about to be jobless on top of being historically illiterate and possessed of no real qualities of self-reliance, ethics, or moral center. Have fun with that."
