Global Shift of Manufacturing Affects Productivity
    Epoch Times
    • Comment: "Workers' productivity in the United States has been on a downslide since 2000, as the U.S. transforms itself into primarily a service economy.U.S. productivity came in at 11th place, with a score of a mere 2.4 percent, among sixteen of its major trading partners. Cakers: in my area, they downsized their R & D facility by something like 13,000 workers in the last year or so. I think they were the largest (or close to the largest) employer in Washington Co. (suburban, west of Portland)
...They seem to shift with the winds...

Update/PS. All my computers have AMD processor 'under the hood'.
