There's been a surge of violence in Afghanistan - with bomb blast in the north of the country killing at least nine people. The escalation comes as the country prepares to take full control of security in more areas - and a week before NATO's summit in Chicago. And, as Tesa Arcilla reports, Alliance support for ongoing involvement in the embattled nation has never been lower.
