I guess I'll have to fish out my old 1950's light sets and chop down a tree.

I just spent a fortune last Christmas on an artificial pre-lit tree.....Now this?

Doots I'm using pre-lit this year also. I got it at a church sale for $2.50 -

Take them outside, hose them down with regular (not anti bacterial) soap and hot water.

Bring inside and decorate.

Problem solved.
