Eyewitness to Tea Party Protest: Adding Insult to Insult

I was actually at the Tea Party march against the health care bill in Washington, D.C. yesterday. I don’t attend political events on the Jewish Sabbath, so I simply decided to go and observe, lending a quiet voice of protest. I was in our nation’s capital for the conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and wandered down by myself to Capitol Hill after morning services at the historic 6th & I synagogue.

I saw thousands of people–fifteen thousand, I guessed at the time–gathered on the west lawn of the Capitol building. There were American flags and lots of Gadsden flags (“Don’t Tread on Meâ€

Lewis is an idiot for walking into that crowd. Why does he have a security detail? Who advised him to do that? He should never be walking into any situation like that.

I don't know how he could have heard anything except the obvious chants of "kill the bill". Must have been hearing things.

AOL - reported a very specific time line of Congress members of the Black Caucus and more than one Tea Party Patriot had very good video of the exact time line of where they were walking - and the event did not happen.

Then more people who attended started sending in their videos.

What is that saying in Hollywood - spread the rumor, even if a correction is done, most people only remember the first reporting and the "correction" is not heard or doubted.

There is a reason they love Saul Alinksy! He taught them very well on how to be the "leader" in the "war" on your opposition - just look at the MSM today!

Not one report of the Progressives who "trolled" into the group trying to "fit in" and then would yell stuff out - trying to get the media to cover how bad the crowd was.

When they were exposed as the Tea party group would break up - they would run because they did not want any "news people" to come up and confront them - as they were Obama supporters.

How do you think Rahm Emmanuel acts? He sent a dead fish to someone who disagreed with him. You have to remember who you are dealing with. One time Rahm was so mad during an argument he took a knife and stabbed it repeatedly into a table during a dinner discussion. People there (Progressives) actually reported the incident.

This is the Chicago way - it is now the Democrat way.

Do whatever is neccessary to win and have your own way. Period.

Please read Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals because they use them all the time and to them it is second nature - like breathing.

You really have got to get up to speed on your new President and his team.
Think of all of those years at Acorn he had.

There so far are no documented videos or accounts to back up any of the accusastions - but many are not even covering the "trolls" that came into the crowds, which many in attendance saw.

It doesn't seem like they're getting the crowds or the coverage they wished for.

From the moment I heard that racial slurs were used by Tea Party Protestors I thought people had been planted to do 2 things. Disgrace the TP movement and garnish some sympathy Health Care & Amnesty (ie minority civil rights) votes in the process.

I think it backfired and is becoming more obvious,the incident does not pass the smell test.We,the American People, are not as stupid as some in Congress assumes.

I hope this comes back to Bite them Big Time and I think it will !!

UPDATE!!! Police arrest Roy's guard after hecklers assault guard, Roy, and our ground crew

Update -- 6:45 p.m.

After threatening Roy, the "mimes" you can see on the video stream and who are following Roy around and hectoring and pushing him, were ordered by Park Police to remain between 7th and 14th streets.

Then they huddled and one ran to Park Police claiming one of Roy's African American bodyguards had assaulted her. Park Police were forced to investigate and arrest the bodyguard pending investigation. You have seen the videos folks, the same ones we will provide to the police to clear this situation. Both Chad and Roy have been shoved, bumped, whistled and screamed at, etc. yet have not pushed back.

NumbersUSA places the blame for federal immigration policies on Congress, not the immigrants marching today on Capitol Hill. Some march organizers are accusing us of bigotry and hate. There HAS been a lot of hateful speech today but it has all been aimed at us.

4:10PM update - Report from our ground crew:

The "swat team" of the Park Police just ordered Roy and our cameraman to vacate the Mall between 7th and 14th Street, and stopped traffic to escort them across the street to the east side of 7th Street. We were told by the Park Police that the pro-amnesty marchers were threatening violence against Roy. When the mimes with the whistles and balloons tried to follow us to the East side of 7th Street, they were ordered by the Park Police to return to between 7th and 14th. This means Roy is now interviewing marchers right outside the march as they come and go without interruption. Leaders from the other side are furious, no doubt.
