Father Charged for Defending 4-Year Old Son from Molestation

Why does this police chief still have his job??? Very disturbing!

Report: Father charged for defending 4-year-old from molestation

    By Michelle Malkin • July 16, 2008

Your Wednesday morning blood-boiler comes from Raynham, MA. Over the weekend, the Raynham Enterprise News reported that a father had blown the whistle on an elderly, non-English-speaking grocery worker who allegedly reached under a bathroom stall and groped his 4-year-old son’s leg. The suspected molester has been charged with indecent assault and battery on a child. The police are also filing assault charges against the father.

    Really:

[b]One Raynham father is taking justice into his own hands, warning other parents this week about an alleged “predatorâ€

The father should be getting an award, this scum bag janitor should be locked up (and deported if illegal), and the police chief should be out of a job!

Chief defends actions in molestation case

    By Susan Parkou Weinstein

    Raynham -
Police Chief Lou Pacheco is letting the written facts speak for themselves after a child molestation case at a local supermarket took on a life of its own.
“It is unfortunate that there appears to be some type of public assumption that the police stopped a father from protecting his son and let a child molester go, that is absolutely not true,â€

So it's okay to use force to stop someone from stealing a TV from your neighbor's house, but it's not okay to use force to stop the sexual assault of your child?
So many folks have disagreed with me about the Joe Horn case, yet we have police officers saying this father acted illegally...I'm confused!

If you're an American citizen, you are guilty until proved innocent. Even if this father had photos...he would be accused of doctoring (photoshopping) the evidence.

Taunton — The Market Basket groping incident sparked a media firestorm this week as Boston-area television news and radio talk shows jumped on the bandwagon.

Most of the reaction to the June 1 incident during which, a 4-year-old boy was reportedly touched high on the leg by a Market Basket employee in the store’s bathroom, has been critical of the police department. Some members of the public say charging the father of the victim with assault after punching 71-year-old Valerio Rodriguez, the man suspected of inappropriately touching his son, was needless.

Shoppers at the Market Basket Plaza on Broadway said they empathized with Jason Beatrice — who was in the bathroom when Rodriguez reached at his son from under a stall — for hitting the person who posed a threat to his child.

“Anyone who’s a parent knows you just don’t touch there,â€

The officers responding to the scene, he said, made the correct decision not to arrest either Rodriguez or Beatrice because both men had no criminal records or outstanding warrants. He also noted that Rodriguez did not understand English and [b]both parties were suspects of “arrestable felonies.â€
