    Banks can't recover during an economic collapse no matter how much Fed money you pump into them. They need deposits from viable businesses into commercial business accounts and from workers depositing payroll checks into checking and savings accounts and both buying long term CD's.

    There's no way to save the banks in our country without reversing the policies that put them in the tank to begin with. It wasn't their loans that screwed them, it was the drop in earned income deposits from their banking customers.
