People growing marijuana indoors use 1 percent of the U.S. electricity supply, and they create 17 million metric tons of carbon dioxide every year (not counting the smoke exhaled) according to a report by Evan Mills, an energy analyst at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
After medical pot use was made legal in California in 1996, Mills says, per-person residential electricity use in Humboldt County jumped 50 percent compared to other parts of the state.
In order to produce some 17,000 metric tons of marijuana this year, Mills estimates authorized growers will use $5 billion worth of energy. That works out to the output of seven big electric power plants.
Much of the carbon dioxide produced by the industry comes from transportation, though the need for lights “500-times greater than recommended for readingâ€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

So I figure it cost me about $3.00 a month extra to grow my medicine here in Oregon.
Because of lung issues I put my "Medicine" in Olive Oil. Or Butter.
1/2 Tablespoon of my olive oil will medicate you, In fact it will put you on the couch wondering where you are.
I am no longer on these meds
Carvedilol
Lisinnopril
furosemide
These meds were more than $100 a month.
I check my bp every chance I get and since I have been on a thc program my bp is now steady at 110/75.
Why would we want to use natural medicine at pennies for the dollar when we can spend thousand's of dollars for approved big pharma meds?Illegal, or unlawful, is used to describe something that is prohibited or not authorized by law
