I was very dissatisfied with his response to the market reaction to his budget. It was all very disingenuous and placating.

The fact is, we didn't need a rating agency to tell us that we need a balanced, long-term approach to deficit reduction. That was true last week. That was true last year. That was true the day I took office.

And you have done nothing about it except sign more spending bills. Spend, spend and spend and hope the debt falls on the next guy. Frankly, I'm glad Obama's socialist spending hand got caught in the cookie jar.

All he can do is put the blame on anybody but candidate Obama. His plan is to tax the rich and blaming congress and specifically the Republicans for not going along.

The only changes to Medicaid he wants to make it to install and fund Obamacare. Don't kid yourselves about that.

tax reform that will ask those who can afford it to pay their fair share and modest adjustments to health care programs like Medicare.

I'd target the earmarks to groups like La Raza and other pork projects. I'd raise tariffs and cut Earned Income Tax Credits. I don't mind giving the poor their money back, but I don't think we should be giving them an 8 thousand dollar or more windfall. That's your tax money, going directly to someone else. That's not teaching a man to fish. Many of those same people are currently receiving welfare, medical and housing. They work the system. If you are receiving government funding like that, you don't deserve a refund!!!!!!

Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and others are going to be downgraded

I believe Fannie was asking for more money about a week ago (in the billions)
