Fed Refuses to Disclose Recipients of $2 Trillion (Update1)

Fed Refuses to Disclose Recipients of $2 Trillion (Update1)

    By Mark Pittman

Dec. 12 (Bloomberg) -- The Federal Reserve refused a request by Bloomberg News to disclose the recipients of more than $2 trillion of emergency loans from U.S. taxpayers and the assets the central bank is accepting as collateral.

Bloomberg filed suit Nov. 7 under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act requesting details about the terms of 11 Fed lending programs, most created during the deepest financial crisis since the Great Depression.

The Fed responded Dec. 8, saying it’s allowed to withhold internal memos as well as information about trade secrets and commercial information. The institution confirmed that a records search found 231 pages of documents pertaining to some of the requests.

“If they told us what they held, we would know the potential losses that the government may take and that’s what they don’t want us to know,â€

[quote]Congress is demanding more transparency from the Fed and Treasury on bailout, most recently during Dec. 10 hearings by the House Financial Services committee when Representative David Scott, a Georgia Democrat, said Americans had “been bamboozled.â€

I am convinced the American taxpayer never knows what is going on with our tax dollars. We just give or we end up in jail or have the food taken out of our mouths and the roof overhead eliminated. If we don't pay because we can't or if we do pay, it is none of our damn business if this money is going to support American business or to bribe foreign companies to replace American business.
The duplicity of standards between the Wall Street bailout with no stipulations of who or how the money is spent, and the pending bailout of the Big 3 is astounding. Multi-millionaires with their big bonuses are more precious than the average working citizen (which apparently makes up the majority of the population--don't these guys know how to add and subtract?) The Congress got snookered by the "emergency" by Paulson for banks, and now they are caught with pants-down for not approving help for 3 million+ jobs that will keep the banks healthy.
None of this makes any sense.

Let me see....25 million to LaRaza since Barney "the Dinosaur" Frank was unable to sneak a 25 million dollar earmark into the DOD supplemental funding measure, 15 million or so to LULAC, 20 million to MALDEF, 100 million to bailout Univision, mortgage payments for the 5 million subprime mortgages on which HUD estimates illegal aliens defaulted in addition to making the payments for illegal alien's car loans, credit cards, welfare and education (tuition assistance), food stamps, health care (chemotherapy, dialysis and organ transplants denied to Americans including veterans), unemployment insurance, job placement assistance, immigration attorneys for those fighting deportation for crimes and a bevy of other benefits already proposed in the previously defeated S-2611 (comprehensive immigration reform measure) while congress tells the struggling American people to go to hell. I would not be surprised if this is where the bailout is going........Why the secrecy otherwise????

The bailout is going toward NWO. All the globalists are squirreling it away for themselves. The rest of us be damned once the borders are opened up to the entire planet.
