Republican U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina on Tuesday picked up the endorsements of two San Diego County elected officials.

Supervisor Bill Horn and San Diego City Councilman Carl DeMaio announced their support of the former Hewlett-Packard CEO.

"Carly understands the anger and frustration of the people of this state and she will carry to Washington our calls for smaller government and no new taxes," said Horn.

"Spending is out of control in Washington and taxpayers can trust Carly Fiorina to be their champion in fighting government waste," DiMaio said.

"Bill and Carl are both outspoken advocates for San Diego taxpayers," said Fiorina. "They share my commitment to fighting for fiscal responsibility and discipline and I'm glad to have them in my corner. After 28 years of Barbara Boxer's failure to stand up for our state, the people of California are calling for a change."
