Five Months Away From the Biggest Depopulation Event in US History

At the time of this writing, the US sits upon the edge of the biggest depopulation event in US history. No, I am not talking about the roll out of martial law, mass incarceration into detention centers under the NDAA, nor am I speaking about the commencement of WWIII. The biggest threat the largest amount of Americans comes in the form of a Trojan Horse. What should be helping Americans to thrive and prosper into old age, is already beginning to be used as a weapon of mass destruction against the American people.

On January 1, 2014, Obamacare takes effect and the death curve among certain populations is going to skyrocket over the next several years. The coming healthcare cataclysm has been deliberately planned with you as their intended victim.

A Small Taste of What’s Coming

Soon, government appointed stooges, such as the director of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, will be making all of our important healthcare decisions. It might behoove us to ask what kind of person and professional is Kathleen Sebelius since she will soon have the complete power of life and death over every American citizen.
To better examine the fine character of Sebelius, let’s take a look at a healthcare case of a ten year old girl, Sara Murnaghan, who is dying of cystic fibrosis. Sebelius gives America a preview of what lies ahead for many of us.

Ten-year-old Sara needs an adult/adolescent lung transplant and this is her only chance of survival. However, Sara is prohibited from being put on the transplant list because the qualifying age to be put on the list is 12 years of age. Several doctors have proclaimed that if she were be put on the list, she would survive.

Kathleen Sebelius

Kathleen Sebilius has the authority to issue a waiver and permit Sara to be added to the list. Sebilius has the power of life over death over young Sara’s life and she said “no” in what has become a one person death panel for Sara.

Even former US Attorney and current Congressman from Pennsylvania, Patrick Meehan has said that Sebelius has the authority to grant the exemption. Yet, Sebilius has issued other such exemptions. It seems that Sarah is just not the right 10 year old. Of course health care exemptions are made every day for friends and supporters of the President. However, Sara just does not carry enough political weight to sway Sebelius.

America, Kathleen Sebelius is the woman who will be making many administrative decisions about the future of your health care. I think most of agree that her handling of this transplant case does not inspire confidence. But wait, it gets worse, far worse.

You Are A Marked Person

You have an assassin that has the proverbial bullet which displays your name. How many of you have ever heard of the IPAB? I would be willing to bet that 99% of the country will never have heard to the IPAB. It stands for the Independent Payment Advisory Board and they are going to be behind the demise of many Americans in the near future.

The IPAB is an unelected panel which will determine who gets treated and what age. Sebelius is serving as the director has been quoted as stating that the majority of IPAB membership cannot consist of medical practitioners.In other words, unqualified, non-medical professionals will be making health care decisions which could determine your fate and the fate of your loved ones.

At a time when many Americans have been angered by the abuses at the Internal Revenue Service, the National Security Agency and the Justice Department, the introduction of a powerful and largely unaccountable board into health care merits special scrutiny. It is important to note that the IPAB is accountable to nobody. Smells like Sebelius is attempting to pull a fast one over on the American people. And this is only the tip of the iceberg.

Another reprehensible element in the plethora of unaccountable, dictatorial organizations which will ration our health care is the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF). This is an unelected independent group of national experts in prevention and evidence-based medicine. The term “treatment denied because it has been declared to be experimental” will soon become a much more popular refrain from health care providers.

Under national healthcare, the USPSTF will determine whether your doctor will be able to diagnose you with what diseases and what treatments are allowable and will be made available to your as well as what age patients are still eligible for treatment.

Rationing Enrollment in Obamacare for Pre-Existing Conditions

Didn’t Obama campaign on not permitting treatment to be denied based upon pre-existing conditions? You bet he did and like so many other things coming out of his mouth, he was lying.
A pre-existing condition health insurance program established by Obamacare is already in financial trouble and is seeking to control costs even before the program is unveiled. The Health and Human Services Department, there is Sebelius rearing her ugly head again, has stopped enrolling any new people in the program, according to an audit by the General Accountability Office. In addition, to further control spending, Sebelius has directed the program to shift more of the costs onto the current participants. We are now witnessing just how free is Obamacare as the pre-existing conditions group is having its out of pocket costs increased even before the program commences.

Rationing of healthcare is also occurring in 16 states which have set a limit on the number of prescription drugs that they will cover for Medicaid patients. Seven of those states, according to Kaiser Health News, have already enacted these limits in just the last two years in anticipation of the roll out of Obamacare..

Death Panels

It turns out that Palin was correct, there really are death panels, who will possess the power of life and death. Those with chronic illnesses and the elderly will be the first set of victims. The IPAB has accurately been identified as a death panel because so many have called for it to have health care rationing powers and because its decisions could result in cost-cutting measures that deny lifesaving medical treatment.

The IPAB will decide, for example, whether a 55-year-old cancer patient will get chemotherapy treatment, or will they be given a pain pill and sent home to die. Under Obamacare, younger patients take precedent over older people. Obama czar, Cass Sunstein has said as much. Sunstein is also in favor of various eugenics policies through such unspeakable policies as embracing, as policy, post-birth “abortions” (i.e. murder) of “defective” children up to the age of three.

Even the Nazi’s were not as inhumane as Sunstein. The Nazis were publicly forthcoming for their perceived need to ration healthcare when it came to what they called “useless mouths.” Kissinger used the term “useless eaters” to describe those that should be done away with under this draconian form of Fabian Socialism. Under Hitler, 300,000 people were exterminated in German hospitals through lethal injection. Under Obama’s plan, this number will seem miniscule by comparison.

In recent remarks to the Accuracy In Media conference, “ObamaNation: A Day of Truth,” Betsy McCaughey stated that the regulations and cuts in Obamacare law would directly cause the deaths of 35,000 hospital patients who otherwise might have survived. Many think that this number might climb ten-fold per year. And we are just beginning to learn about specific age-related exemptions for treatment. You see, there is the version of the law that Obama managed to get through both houses which uses very nebulous language. Then there is the administration of the same law and manifestation of these policies.

And please remember that many doctors are leaving the profession because of this thinly veiled flavor of Obama based eugenics. By 2020, the US is projected to have a shortage of 80,000 doctors. By 2025, that number is expected to grow to a national shortage of 130,000 doctors. And with specialists and general practitioners being paid the same under Obamacare, why would any doctor spend the extra money to become trained in various healthcare specialties if they will not make any more money? So, even if Obamacare was not about creating treatment exclusions, finding a doctor and managing the wait time could prove to be an insurmountable challenge.

This is only the tip of the iceberg and, yet, the sheep continue to march on to their final resting place.

Good News Update: A lower court ruling reversed the decision of HHS Director, Kathleen Sebelius decision to not allow 10 year old Sara her double lung transplant. Unfortunately, this does not mitigate the decision originally made by Sebelius. Most people who would be euthanized by Obamacare will never have a judge in their corner to rule on their behalf. If anyone thinks that this will cause Sebelius to reverse the depopulation elements listed in this article, then one would have to believe in the tooth fairy. Sebelius, on behalf of the Obama administration may have lost the battle with 10 year old Sara, but they are clearly winning the war to depopulate America through the genocidal Obamacare.

Most everyone I know that had hip and knee replacements are on medicare, also heart stents and neck artery by passes, gall bladder removal, varicose vein surgery, and lens implants for cataracts, etc…wonder how all this will work out after Obummer care kicks in? Alzheimer, HIV, cancer, parkinson, stroke, diabetis patients will be euthanized for sure. Cancer surgery or radiation for tumors will be curtailed for many.

Have to restrict overly expensive or experimental treatments… Meanwhile it’s still ok to hand out food stamps, welfare, disability, and unemployment like candy. Vets and fifty year olds with no health insurance or an illness have been denied healthcare coverage that has and will shorten their lives by a decade or two. This article is extremely misleading and basically misinformation. There will be no sudden death spiral because of Obamacare. In fact the new healthcare plan will save many, many lives at the same time as it reduces medical costs dramatically. That has been the result in dozens of different nations that have single payer healthcare. This medical corporate insurance propaganda is just that, lying propaganda. Its not like no one saw this coming. It really isn’t Sebelius’ fault that the girl couldn’t get on the transplant list. The fault lies with all those selfish people who refuse to take personal responsibility in looking after themselves that overwhelm the medical systems so things like this happen. If people took better care of themselves, then there likely wouldn’t BE a transplant waiting list.
There isn’t enough money on this planet to take care of every person. If the citizens want the status quo, then you’re going to see a lot more of this kind of thing happening.
It’s the only logical conclusion for selfish behavior. Look to yourselves before passing judgement on the death panels.

I agree with Daddio; the States are sovereign, and We the People their rulers. No Federal Govt has control over us. The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land and the Bill of Rights its cornerstone. God has granted all of us three basic Rights, which are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. These Rights are unalienable, which mean they are God given; and, no govt may either grant or take away.
Obummer and his ilk will soon be swept out of power due to the vast scandals and crimes they have committed; and, those who pull their strings will find their day of reckoning just around the same time. Well, you have to admit, there are lots of “useless eaters” out there. I’d concentrate on not being one of them, staying in good health, doing my best to avoid unnecessary injury, and finding a place in the “limelight”, such that if something DID happen to me, it would make it into the media, (like the story if the little girl), that way you may still have a chance…otherwise, i’d start stockpiling gold and silver, as your doctor may not be able to take cash or credit for treating you “off the books”…

I knew this was coming sooner or later. Anything that Obama touches turns to sh*t in a hurry. The very fact the Congress was held hostage until they voted “the right way” was aa dead giveaway. Assisted suicides are a good idea especially for those unfortunate folks eeking out an existence unwanted in a nursing home just essentially taking up space and sucking up money. Their kids don’t want them anymore and they have nothing to look forward to all day….just watch tv, eat and poop and that’s it. I know for one I would chose the assisted suicide over that lifestyle.
Also denying expensive treatments will become the norm soon if they haven’t already. Why throw away millions on a half dead fetus keeping it alive when you can spread out that million to other healthy children? 100 years ago we just let those children die instead of keeping vegetables alive for the sake of keeping them alive.
What everyone forgets is that No one gets out of this lifetime alive…..you gotta die sometime. Obama and his folks just want to speed up the process on you whether you like it or not. And let me personally thank all those jerks who voted for this clown in office now. I hope you are one of the targeted “assisted suicides” in the near future.

The gnostic religion (which i’m sure you have never heard of). was virtually wiped out by the church long ago. It had been a widespread religion until it was persecuted. I’m compelled to add, in hopes of revising my post.
Folks that take the time to post on these kind of blogs and do so without paying attention to spelling, syntax, grammar etc. only reduce the value of their input.
In today’s world there is no reason why anyone can’t make a sentence that at least has correct spelling.
If one cannot make a sentence with even passable syntax the message you are attempting to relate is anchored to the foundation of illiteracy.
Literate people tend to dismiss such posts as they’re hard to read and require too much work to make sense of.
I submit that this is a HUGE part of the problem we’re discussing as a whole. If you can’t make a point or understand the convoluted point made by another, how do you advance a solution?
Daddio may have made a completely cogent point but the illiterates reading it can’t understand it.
We Americans ultimately terrified the English because, in part, by the time of the Revolution many Colonialists l knew almost as much about English law as an English Barrister.
This made their opinions carry real weight and I submit it was this knowledge that provided the stepping stone that enriched, emboldened and empowered these new Americans.
In these days the average person hardly knows what to do at a 4-way stop-sign.
Rule of Law? What’s that?
Education, self-education, is more available today than at any time in human history. Yet the collective ignorance of our populace, out of sheer laziness and therefore purposeful, is creating the crappy environment which promotes agendas the likes of what are being discussed here.
I submit to you that the answers to our dilemmas are really pretty simple.
1.) UnElect the current administration.
2.) Establish Term Limits on Congress
3.) CUT THE TIES between Big Business and ANY Government Body

I don´t think Obamacare curtailings are meant to reduce population.
If they really wanted to do this by force, and with some “efficiency”, they would have just let out some of those viruses with a high lethality rate they have in their bioweapon labs…
Futhermore, remember that only 40 or 50 years ago there were no such things as lung and kidney transplants at all. People having a disease which completely destroyed a vital organ died by the force of Nature.
thus it is not euthanasia or depopulation if someone dies from such a disease because of lack of transplants.
It is just return to pre-transplant age for scarcity reasons, a partial reversal of a “progress” which was perhaps no progress at all.
For, I know how people with transplants usually have to live. They have to swallow lots of pills to suppress immune reactions, pills which in many of them cause various kinds of discomfort; many of them even have to live without any uncooked food… just imagine, never in their lives will they ever munch a fresh apple again… it is exactly this what awaits that poor ten-year-old, for it was from a lung-transplanted patient that I heard of this horrible “dietary” detail… such an overwhelming amount of austerity for the immune system suppression they need for blank survival… some even are forbidden to go out in the sun… If I had to live that way I would cry night and day and long for death!
Additionally, they have to continually visit their docs (and psychologists whom they “need” to make them believe that such a life still is worth living and to keep them smiling toward the public)
and there they have to perform an undignified show of gratefulness, obedience and all; I suppose if they would show / say what they really feel about such a constrainted life they would be called names (“non-cooperative”, “querulatory paranoid”, “hysterically oversensitive” etc) instead of getting some real comfort i.e. understanding that their bad feelings are not at all wrong but only natural.
To cut it short, if I had an incurable lung disease demanding for a transplant, I´d rather demand for a last prayer followed by an overdose of morphine, at the point of disease-progress when every breath, irreversibly, has become a burden. And I am a medical staff person meself. I know things from inside.
The hip and knee joints made of metal and implanted to keep up ability to walk and do household chores in old age are a completely different subject.
they CAN (in cases when they get implanted early enough and without complications) really give more “quality of life”, not just a blank survival of doubtful worth as transplants do; old ones, I know, wish nothing more than to stay free instead of being institutionalized for being helpless;
moreover they help society save lots of money for care of the old, inasmuch as the people who get such implants can keep up a daily life and a household which is at least half-way independent.
Thus I think Obamacare restraints, if they have been planned with some reason (their main aim is said to to save money in order to keep up at least some health-care infrastructure in our present times of municipal or state-wide insolvency and this to my account can NOT be a lie), should NOT hit joint implant operations too.
With ONE exception: “multimorbide” old people i.e. those who have literally no organ in their bodies which is not irreversibly damaged but still do not realize that they are going to die soon and, instead, call for a “new knee” or “new hip” thinking they will still have the opportunity to make use of it. In such persons, public medical care to my account has no duty to pay for a joint implant, and here, I think, Obamacare does make restrictions. (German system still does not, and I think this is wrong…)
But those unreasonable “multimorbides” are about a thirtieth (one of 30) of those who get a joint implant to-day (in Germany where joint implants are very very much in fashion – in U.S. it may be even a smaller percentage). No one, thus, could call such a restraint a “depopulation measure”!
US people should realize the simple fact that “Petrol is running out, so Money is running out too” and accept those restraints in public medical care which are founded upon Common Sense; but they should also start to routinely disobey, and effectively protest, toward decisions and directions which go against Common Sense. In order to regain the amout of REason, of ability to see what keeps the frame of Common Sense and what trespasses it, they should stop watching junk T.V. and, instead, have the Amish and Mennonites “re-educate” them a bit.

Most of us read these things for information, or to get a handle of just where we are as a nation. It is no stretch of the imagination to say that America is in the throes of a downfall. The question then becomes, “How far will we fall, and what will be the outcome?” And the question in our minds then becomes, “What can we do?”
People like Dave, the author here, are doing an outstanding job by informing us of these things. In fact, they have given their lives to this end, and if these things continue, they WILL be giving their lives! We owe them a debt of gratitude! But having this information does not stop what is occurring, even though it may serve to delay it a bit.
Some mention that voting out the representatives and changing term limits etc., will solve the problem. But the system is totally corrupt. We can no longer even trust that the votes would be counted honestly. Our representatives are also in a system that is corrupt, and even though a representative may be an honest, good willed person, he is in a system that will use any method to control his vote and actions. Any ‘sin’ or ‘misappropriation’ in his life can and WILL be used against him if he steps out of line. And if, by some miracle, this representative is ‘clean’, then faults will be manufactured and the media and others will magnify them to bring the desired results. Our government obviously needs a housecleaning!
Another problem with America is pride. As mentioned by another poster, pride comes before a fall. America has allowed itself to change from a good, helpful country to a selfish, murderous one that has a government that is bent on total control of the world and it’s populace. So, whether you believe in karma, or like me, believe that there is a God that will eventually right all wrongs, you’ve got to realize that WE, as Americans are causing our own demise, and it is because we are doing wrong; yet, for the most part, we are too prideful to admit it. Personally, I believe that we are following the pattern of wrong-doing that the old Hebrews were guilty of, and the last few chapters of the Book of Deuteronomy spells out our woes with incredible accuracy. God always allows us freedom to go our own way, but when it gets to a certain point, that He is the judge of, He has to bring it to an end. And that is where we are at. But we also must realize that God uses these things to bring the scum to the surface so that it can be dealt with and done away with. This is also His purpose in our march to a world that will be changed into a time of peace where men will learn of war no more.
I think of George Washington’s Vision, (Google it), where the country is almost at it’s end, and finally God intervenes. But the reason He intervenes is hidden between the lines. He intervenes when we lay down our pride and admit to our sins…in short, we repent. It is all summed up in 2 Chronicles 7:14, a verse that Ronald Reagan quoted as a warning to us all, but not heeded as of yet.
When we see enough death, destruction, and hopelessness; then is when we will heed the advice given by the Lord Himself…then the tide will miraculously turn.

Everyone is missing the point here….
They have the technology to fix all the problems we have with energy, health/disease, and polution yet they supress it and keep it from the public.
All the people who are getting sick, the babyboomers and children are from the vaccines too, that the corporations, big pharma have put in them that kill us intead of protect us. Why they supposedly quit giving the vaccines that contained the SV30 cancer virus, they are still giving those to children at free clinics. Not to mention the horrible genetically modified food they are putting out, going after people who want to put pure organic food to people, and people who want to grow their own food. They also allow these corporations now to not be sued over the deadly creations they have made and the effects of said food and vaccines they have shoved down our throats so that you can’t put your child in school without them. They also go after those who wish to home school their children, just for that reason, so they don’t have to give them the poison vaccines and be taught a false indoctrination of socialism. Bill Gates for one who has too much time and money on his hands, decides we need to get CO2 down to zero…so idiotic, because any 5th grader who listened in science class knows that it is CO2 that the plants use to make oxygen, so if there is no CO2, there would be no plants and no humans…HELLO, he also went to India and gave live polio vaccines to over 40,000 children who then either died or were crippled, where they didn’t have a problem with polio…instead of looking into what caused polio in the first place, which came after they discovered penicillin, they started vaccines which only created more health problems. Also, they are demonizing vitamins which our body needs to fight disease and keep us healthy. Look into Codex Alementarius in the World Health Organization. Why did Pepsi put dead baby fetal cells in it’s drink called flavorines, why do they put aspartame in sugared gum and 10,000 other food products as it is so harmful to our health, causing type 2 diabetes in people. Why does McDonalds put plastic in their chicken nuggets, why are all these corporations allowed to poison us, with water, food and vaccines? Because they run our country, and corporations were never suppose to be allowed to operate in this country unless they were doing a service that is good for the all. It has flipped on us now….they are killing us off, and impoverishing us, and turning us into a communist socialist society.
They are the ones polluting the earth with their geoengineering, and mercury in the water, and flouride, to the point that autism has skyrocketed along with other neurological diseases they caused but don’t want to pay for the results of.
There are 25 suicides a day of vets who went to fight for ‘our so called freedom in their wars’ not approved by Congress, and now that they had went there, been exposed to DU and are suffering with PTSD and other things from their service to our country, they are being told they have to pay for their own healthcare, so guess they decide to take the suicide way out…those numbers are crazy!
They have the technology to solve the energy problems many decades ago, but they wouldn’t make as much money because they have to make it scarce and raise the price, which now is 10 times greater where I could fill up my tank with $4 now costs me $40. They kill and hunt down scientists and inventors who come up with free energy inventions, yet they are shutting down cold power plants in this country, and are installing smart meters and one day will monitor and shut off your appliances when you are using over your limit.
Last but not least, the 1,000 + executive orders the President has signed, on his own admission to by pass Congress who is suppose to invoke the people’s civil rights and liberties to health and well being. We the people should be outraged everyday with what they are doing to us, and it is in all facets of our lives, incrementalism and slowly but surely, closing in on us as a free society to a bureocractic, socialistic, alogarcy, where the middle class is being destroyed and a thing of the past.
Instead of trying to surveil us all in our own homes, and take away our liberties, why aren’t they releasing their technology they have been keeping to themselves? Why do the taxpayers have to pay for them to build Fema camps and underground facilities, and all the secret programs? The tenacles of this whole thing reach so far down the rabbit hole, it gives me a headache to keep up with them!
Hold on to your hats, they aren’t done with us yet, I can only pray this whole thing is thwarted by the good people who have a conscience and stand up to this whole eugenics loving, people hating, secret shadow operation and peacefully implement all the technologies they have harbored and give it to the people to fix the problems they created with their poisons and wars.

Editor: Georgia guidestones anyone? I get that part. They have designed a great “mousetrap”. As for health- I did not indicate any changes would be instantaneous and I never implied wishing away problems would help. Countries with no western allopathic medicine enjoy better health than we do and have increased longevity. As for people with chronic illness- with allopathic treatments they are in deep, deep, trouble. It is not totally “pie in the sky” to take care of yourself. Did enjoy dialysis for dummies. Trying to look through the correct end of microscope.

I don’t plan on contributing to paying for it, going to the doctor anymore, or deciding on what insurance scam for the federal reserve I should pay. I don’t care what garnishment of the IRS does to my finances. This tyranny will be continued until WE THE PEOPLE don’t want to put up with it. Didn’t say it would be easy or would push you to the brink of giving in, You win when you don’t give up & keep that idea bulletproof.
And if Obamacare continues at least ill have government mailed garbage to use for my fire place or have an endless supply of toilet paper.

Obamacare threatens to maim and kill innocent people in the name of furthering the bottom line for the insurance companies. Obamacare contains the heinous specter of death panels. We are all at risk and certainly Obamacare represents yet another form of wealth distribution. However, the people should know that help is on the way.

Dr. Linda Peeno

Dr. Linda Peeno contacted me two weeks ago and informed me that she is reinserting herself into her advocacy work on behalf of all patients who are trapped in a corrupt medical system.

If you don’t know who Linda Peeno is, the following profile should inspire all to become a force for positive change. If you remember Dr. Peeno, you will find the following information to be a welcome update on one of America’s most courageous whistleblowers.

Of all the interviews that I have conducted over the years, there is one interview which still troubles me to this day. Almost five years ago, I interviewed managed health care whistleblower, Dr. Linda Peeno, her revelations have haunted me in the years following the interview. I am haunted because Dr. Peeno gave so much to the people of America and lost nearly everything in return.

What started out as an interview with the objective consisting of presenting the listening audience with an expose on the inherent evils of health care, the interview turned into what John F. Kennedy would refer to as a shining example of a “profile in courage.” Yet, it is a profile in courage that has neither been championed or rewarded. Rather, Peeno’s statements and actions have been met with denial, derision, disdain and a highly effective and destructive retaliation.

Certainly, Linda Peeno’s trip down whistleblower lane appeared promising when the her Congressional testimony was prominently portrayed in Michael Moore’s movie, Sicko, as Peeno told Congress the following:

“I wish to begin by making a public confession: In the spring of 1987, as a physician, I caused the death of a man. Although this was known to many people, I have not been taken before any court of law or called to account for this in any professional or public forum. In fact, just the opposite occurred: I was “rewarded” for this. It bought me an improved reputation in my job, and contributed to my advancement afterwards. Not only did I demonstrate I could indeed do what was expected of me, I exemplified the “good” company doctor: I saved a half million dollars. I contend that “managed care,” as we currently know it, is inherently unethical in its organization and operation. Furthermore, I maintain that we have an industry which can exist only through flagrant ethical violations against individuals and the public.”

Below is an excerpt from Michael Moore’s movie Sicko, which featured the above referenced testimony from Dr. Peeno.

Previously on The Common Sense Show, Dr. Peeno stated that the man whose death that she took responsibility for, in the name of managed care, saved Humana $250,000. Peeno went on to state that shortly after the man’s death, she passed by a bronze and marble statue outside the Humana headquarters building, where Peeno was employed. She inquired how much the statue cost Humana to purchase. Peeno learned the statue cost Humana $3.8 million dollars. This gross contradiction in Humana’s priorities led Linda Peeno to wonder out loud “How many people must needlessly die in order to perpetuate corporate affluence?”

In the 2002 Showtime production, Damaged Care, talented actress Laura Dern played the part of Dr. Peeno as the docudrama portrayed the shift in consciousness that Peeno experienced as she became managed care’s biggest whistleblower because she could not longer trade lives for corporate profits by stamping the word “denied” on a preauthorization form requesting medical treatment.

Certainly, Dr. Peeno’s Congressional testimony and the Showtime docudrama s secured her spot as an American hero, didn’t it? Of course there was a lucrative book deal along with endless public appearances championing her personal courage in the name of protecting the public. And of course Dr. Peeno rode off into the sunset on her white horse to live happily ever after, correct?

Unfortunately, there was no lucrative book deal and Dr. Peeno’s livelihood was stripped away. After all, what managed care company would ever let her name appear on a provider’s list of physicians following her Congressional testimony? To add insult to injury, Humana attempted to defame Dr. Peeno’s credibility in a June 28, 2007 press release about Sicko, when Humana declared that Peeno was never a Humana permanent, full-time employee (despite drawing a six figure salary). Humana further went on to state that Peeno was nothing but a mere part-time contractor. Humana also took exception with Peeno’s Congressional testimony by stating that the referenced patient’s healthcare plan did not include coverage for a heart transplant. Therefore, according to some twisted sense of justice, Humana claimed that the denial of coverage was valid. But isn’t that the problem here in that we permit managed care to commit rationed health care genocide on the American public and then punish the whistleblowers, like Linda Peeno, for doing no more than attempting to fulfill their sacred medical oath “to do no harm”?

For a brief while, I wondered why Humana did not issue their denials in rebuttal to Peeno’s 1996 Congressional testimony. Then I realized, it is not a crime to lie to the press, but it is called perjury when it is done in front of Congress.

Please allow me to encapsulate what Dr. Peeno did for you and for me. After working most of her adult life to become a physician, she cast all of that aside in the name of saving lives by calling attention to one of the greatest evils on the planet, managed health care. Her reward was the loss of her medical career and subsequent livelihood. And as Dr. Peeno revealed on my show, she not only lost her medical career, she lost her marriage and was reduced to living month to month.

I have frequently wondered why more Americans are not taking to the streets in protest of the corporate takeover of our country. Some have sarcastically, and sometimes seriously, have suggested that too many of our citizens have been drugged, sprayed and injected with chemicals in order to induce passivity. Some have suggested that Americans are just too busy making ends meet to pay attention. Many others have suggested that the average American is so dumbed down by a failing education system that they cannot fully appreciate what we have lost to the fascist corporate power structure.

However, my previous interview with Linda Peeno speaks to the fact that too many Americans are simply cowards and lack the back bone and the necessary personal conviction to do what Linda Peeno did.

In 2008, President Obama rode in on his white horse to save the health care day. At least that what is many of you thought. If Obama was truly interested in reform that would benefit patients, then why wasn’t Linda Peeno part of the national discussion? Why wasn’t she invited to serve on an Obama-appointed government committee on health care? After all, can anyone name a physician who has done more and subsequently suffered more for advancing the cause of patient rights? Does anyone doubt that Humana has a collection of their minions on these types of committees? I share in Dr.Peeno’s idea for taking the profit out of health care in order to restore a patient-centered system. However, Obamacare has also created a for profit system which is just as evil, just as corrupt and just as anti-patient. There can be no question that Obamacare will end up being another Obama disaster.

At the time of my last interview with Dr. Peeno, she revealed that she taught adjunct courses for Allied Healthcare as she attempts to make ends meet and she is without healthcare because she could not afford it. Whoever heard of a physician without health care?

One might think that Linda Peeno would be embittered with all that she has endured, but she is not. She spoke eloquently about finding contentment emanating from within while continuing to work for reform in the health care industry. Her grace and soft spoken manner has left an indelible mark upon me.

Dr. Peeno slowly drifted from the national discussion in healthcare. Then two weeks ago, I received an email, as she entitled it,” from an old friend.” Dr. Peeno said she wanted to become involved again with her advocacy work. Obamacare better watch out because history has show that Dr. Peeno is both formidable and fearless.

The world did not need Linda Peeno’s medical practice nearly so much as it needed Linda Peeno’s courage and conviction. The nature of her actions and her sacrifices commands us to take a very deep look at our own character and devotion to doing what we know is the right thing. Why aren’t there more Linda Peeno’s? Just what does it take to become a meaningful reformer and a fearless whistleblower?

Some of you will profess to lack the eloquence, the resources or the knowledge needed to help reclaim our lost country. Being a true reformer does not require any of these attributes. Then what does it take to help change one’s society? The attributes needed to become a reformer consists of answering one question and taking one action. Simply ask yourself, “Is this America that you want to raise your children in?” Then take a moment to reach around yourself and see if your backbone is still intact. If it is, you have what it takes. And please spare me the worn out argument that you don’t have the time. When some managed care company stamps the word “denied” on your child’s medical authorization for life-saving surgery, will you find the time then?

I am glad to see a doctor stand up against an evil system that has perpetuated so many lies that many have either been maimed or died as a result. Sick care is what it should be called for not only are they wanting the cost to be on the bottom, but they want you to just idly sit by while they create death rather than life. Thank you for being courageous and again I have argued with the system for such a long time—it is a wonder more have not died as a result—again thank you

The motto for physicians to follow, from the time of Hippocrates to the present, is “Do no harm”. For centuries, physicians have taken the oath not to harm the patients in their care. Therefore, any doctor who violates that oath no longer deserves to continue his/her medical career.
When it comes to medical procedures, it MUST be the decision of medical professionals with their patients, not some health insurance beaurocrat who knows absolutely nothing about healthcare and medical procedures. No wonder the US ranks near the bottom of the list of wealthy, industrialized nations in life expectancy. Are you proud of this, Fascists? You should not be; you should be totally ASHAMED.
Oh, I nearly forgot; you guys are nothing more than PSYCHOPATHS who deserve to be permanently locked in padded isolation cells in some psych ward.

Obamacare was put in by Lobbyist from the Health Insurance, Pharmaceutical, & the Health Care Organizations. It had nada to do with what the people want or need. Gov hasn’t done that in years!

I first purchased private medical insurance from Blue Cross in 2008 to cover myself and my two children. My husband has VA and Medicare coverage. Our Blue Cross was $287 per month for the first several months. Then I began getting annual notices of premium increases. The coverage is now $756 month. My husband is retired and I’m self employed. We don’t receive any help with premiums under Obamacare, nor do we qualify for Medicaid. We’re supposed to be the kind of folks Obama declared he was committed to rescuing. Right. What has happened is that our hard work and careful financial planning has been decimated by medical insurance premium and medical care costs. My 73 year old husband is now working full time again, just so we can pay the Blue Cross premium. This health care fiasco may ruin us.EDITOR’S NOTE: Obama’s goal is to deindustrialize America and he is doing it from the top down, cap and trade, and from the bottom up, health care. Your husband is the poster child on why most of us will never retire.

A wonderful article Mr. Hodges. Mr. Moore’s movie Sicko was very enlightening. Back in the 1990′s I had read a young college student”s Phd paper on the Exploding Medical Costs. She had found out that 50% of every medical dollar was not going into clinics, hospitals, tests and equipment. But into insurance companies paper shuffling and salaries. 50 %. So really to have a true single payer system, were we would pay our premiums to the clinics and hospitals of our choice and cut out the middle man (insurance) is the way to go. I would think it would bring our premiums down to the 1980′s range.

Conservatives taking a Stand: Defund Obamacare or shut down the government

Conservatives on Capitol Hill are drawing a line in the sand: they will not vote to stop the government from shutting down if Obamacare is not defunded.

Led by Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee, a dozen senators sent a letter Thursday saying they will not support any resolution to continue funding the federal government if President Obama’s health-care law remains funded.

Under current law, the government is funded until Sept. 30, meaning a continuing resolution needs to be passed to keep the government from shutting down.

“The Obama Administration’s recent decision to delay Obamacare’s employer mandate and eligibility verification for the individual exchanges is further proof the law is a failure that will inevitably hurt businesses, American families, and the economy,” Lee said.

“In light of this admission, I and several of my colleagues will be informing Sen. Reid that we will not vote for a continuing resolution that funds Obamacare,” he added.

Among those who signed onto the letter: Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.

Over in the House, a large contingent of House Republicans are pushing a similar strategy, led by Rep. Mark Meadows of North Carolina.

“Congressman Meadows is leading a letter, currently co-signed by 66 Members, encouraging House leadership to defund Obamacare through the appropriations process,” spokeswoman Emily Miller told The Daily Caller on Thursday.

Meadows said she expects the movement to grow as lawmakers are “still signing on to support the effort.”
