Habitual traffic offender arrest nets assault rifles

PALMETTO - Authorities have detained a 22-year-old man who was arrested late Thursday night after a routine traffic stop, according to Palmetto Police Department officials.

Knowing resident alien Mohammad Zuheralt Al Natsheh was not supposed to be driving because of a revoked license, officers pulled his vehicle over at 11 p.m., in the 200 block of Ninth Street West in Palmetto.

Al Natsheh, a "habitual traffic offender," was placed under arrest.

When officers searched his vehicle, they found a loaded SKS assault rifle, a loaded AK-47 assault rifle, a .40 caliber Kel-Tech carbine, an inoperable hand grenade, ammunition and a short-barreled .22-caliber rifle, according to spokesman Sgt. Scott Tyler.

Al Natsheh was arrested and faces a charge of driving with a revoked driver's license and a charge of possession of a short-barreled rifle.

"It's illegal to possess a rifle with a barrel less than 16 inches long," Tyler said. "The barrel had been cut down."

The guns were confiscated to perform ballistics testing and to be fingerprinted. The serial numbers will also be traced, Tyler said.

"Some of these guns match the descriptions of weapons used in some of the unsolved shooting cases," Tyler said.

Federal authorities are conducting a thorough background check on Al Natsheh to determine whether he has any aliases or warrants, and they will also review his immigration status. Because of that, a 48-hour hold was placed on Al Natsheh at the Manatee County jail, Tyler said.

Al Natsheh has several traffic infractions on his record within Manatee County, but no criminal offenses, according to court records.

This does not surprise me. The same is going on south of Atlana as well. There the illegals are using guns in robberies. This can happen anywhere as the guns are often stolen from legal gun owners.
At least they got some off the streets before it got much worse.

    America protecting criminals

As some immigrants grow bolder and bolder and think that they deserve everything, they don't think twice about robbing people. Illegals are already drug smuggling, murdering americans, raping americans, hurting children, and being protected by the american government. Why should anyone be surprised that immigrants both legal and illegal would carry guns.

Guns and drug running, drug production and/or drug dealing going hand in hand. It doesn't matter if they are legal or not. It is the same with gangs.
