Trucks Selling Food In Wake County Running Into The Law

http://apnews.fimc.net/showarticlewptf. ... w=10&w=400

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - People hoping to bring Hispanics a taste of
home are running into strict rules in the city of Raleigh.

Trucks are prohibited from selling food on city streets and in
residential neighborhoods. It also outlaws sales for more than a
short period of time at any commercial site smaller than a major
shopping center.

The News and Observer of Raleigh reports that at least three
dozen of the trucks, called loncheras, are operating in Wake
County. City officials say they've been fielding complaints from
citizens about traffic problems and trash.

But JB, what's the matter with Raleigh? The citizens there want LAWS ENFORCED? They actually want people to obey the law?

My goodness
TIME'S UP!

Why should only AMERICAN CITIZENS and LEGAL immigrants, have to obey the law?!

home
...if they're so hungry for a 'taste' of home, why not GO HOME and get your fill!!! BS, more BS. They are anxious to make money and break every public and health rule doing it.
P.S.Don't come here looking for 'home comforts' when you are a criminal law-breaker!
We are NOT a nation of immigrants!

I don't get this new wave of business. We could never do that before. You just couldn't pull up and sell stuff out of a trunk or truck without SOME form of check. I can't have more than 1 garage sale a year and I wouldn't be selling food. Maybe it's different from state to state........ I just know I couldn't put a stand in my front yard right now and sell the vegetables from my garden.

I'm sure that most places require some type of permit to do this kind of stuff. I think whats happening here is they are doing just what you said. Just driving around selling stuff and ignoring the law (hey, that sounds familiar).
