The Associated Press - LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.

It had all the makings of a dentist's office _ except for a license.

Gwinnett Police arrested four people this week for running a fake dentist's office out of a Lawrenceville home.

Officers charged Carina Alejandra Hernandez-Rodriguez, 29, with practicing without a dental license. The others _ Hector Armando Najera, 21, Jose Lucas Martinez-Rodriguez, 51, and Oscar Estanislao Najera-Najera, 27 _ face drug-related charges.

Police seized two dental chairs, an X-ray machine, dentistry tools and hundreds of vials of anesthetics, officers said. Investigators say more than 50 patients received dental work at the home.

Rodriguez faces up to five years in prison and a $1,000 fine if convicted. She remains jailed on more than $60,000 bond. All four arrested at the home early Wednesday morning face five counts of selling, distributing or possession of dangerous drugs.

It's the second faux dentistry practice shut down in Gwinnett County in suburban Atlanta since May.
