Ban Ki-moon, United Nations secretary-general, on Wednesday called on Group of 20 leaders to support a $1,000bn stimulus package for developing countries threatened by the global financial crisis.

In a time when the USA is hemorrhaging jobs to developing nations I can think of nothing better to do with our remaining wealth than giving it to those developing nations so they can drain any chance of American success from all angles

"In a pre-summit letter to G-20 leaders, Mr Ban wrote: “While this is a large sum, most of it could be mobilised through existing mechanisms and institutions."

Aren't these the same 'existing mechanisms and institutions' which brought us massive financial fraud in the "Oil for Food Program" administered by the U.N. in Iraq?
