Gaddafi says Obama election is victory for blacks (and Socialism and Islam)

KIEV, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, newly on good terms with Washington, on Thursday hailed the election of Barack Obama as the next U.S. president as "the beginning of victory for black people".

But Gaddafi said he feared for Obama's safety, and said he hoped the United States' first black president would not be assassinated like John F. Kennedy or black civil rights leader Martin Luther King.

Gaddafi, dressed in a white safari suit emblazoned with a map of Africa, said recent events, including Obama's victory, were "set down 30 years ago in the Green Book," a reference to his 1970s people power manifesto that mixes elements of socialism and Islam.

"The Green Book says society's time will come. The Green Book says that blacks will govern the world and power will belong to society and to its minorities," he told reporters in a tent pitched near the state residence which had been assigned to him in Kiev.

"This can be considered the beginning of victory for black people."

Let's remember, Ghadafi is a major financial backer and good friend of Railia Odigna,,,,,the relative Obama actively campaigned for in his bid to head the Kenyan government.

You know....the same Odigna who promised Muslim rule of Kenya in exchange for the support of Ghadafi and other extremists. The same Odigna who orchestrated the brutal slaughter of Christians in retaliation for his election loss....slaughter that included burning women and children alive in a church and a slaughter which ended only when he forced himself into political power as co-PM.

And this is what Obama threw his support behind in the capacity of his position as a US Senator. These are the kind of people now crawling out of the woodwork celebrating Obama's win because it's all part of "the plan".

But what the hell, who cares about any of that.......all that's important is that the first black man was elected as potus and he's going to make sure Peggy in Sarasota has a full gas tank and her mortgage paid every month

Excellent analysis AZW! Notice how he didn't say the Obama win was a 'victory' for America? I think we have reason to be concerned when people like Hugo Chavez and Gaddafi are celebrating the Obama victory.

It makes me uncomfortable when I see the flag of the former Soviet Union being waved with jubilance at an Obama victory celebration. I guess none of that matters.

All this makes me more than a little uncomfortable. However, I will try to remain optimistic and see what happens. What else can I do...
