I feel Gary Cohn did what an advisor is supposed to do, advise! He probably took on the job hoping to change President Trump's mind on protectionism, but he did not betray the President while he had that job. As President Trump said "I like conflict". Obama surrounded himself with "Yes men"! But President Trump has the business sense that you need a variety of opinions to choose from.

Yeah, Cohn is smart and probably a good manager, former CEO at Goldman-Sachs so he would be good on taxes and deregulation, but his whole career experience at Goldman-Sachs would be counter to Trump's agenda which is to reverse free trade policies along with taxes, deregulation, immigration and so forth. Cohn and Trump probably also disagree on immigration issues, too, so it's fine for Cohn to leave. Globalists have controlled our trade and immigration policies for 40 years and the results are 75 million on Medicaid, 70,000 lost factories, massive excess immigration and $21 trillion in national debt paying for it. Sorry, way past time to fix the problems by reversing the policies that caused them.

Cohn was a swamp creature. Glad to see him gone!
