    They need to talk to companies in the export business to have a fair, balanced
    discussion on the China Tariffs.

    I am in the luxury automobile export industry and the China import tariffs on
    U.S autos is killing our volume and profits.

    China has 150% import tariff on U.S. imported cars which puts the car out of reach for the majority of Chinese buyers.

    Just for example, without mentioning brand or model, in 2016 we had a gross profit $40,000 per car.

    Now in 2018, on same make /model, gross profit has dropped to $13,000 per car.
