It is Easier to be Critical than Correct

In the case of Climatology, you must be critical in order to be correct. With the notable exception of the Dr Josef Mengele School of Medicine, there has been no greater failure of science in all of history than the global warming fraud. And Mengele may be given more credit than he deserves.

Known as the Angel of Death at Auschwitz, this good doctor had a fixation on experiments with twin children. Of the documented 3,000 sets he butchered, almost 100 survived the war. However, in the fourteen pages and dozen doctors listed for human experimentation crimes in The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, there is no mention of Dr Mengele or his crimes.

Part of this may be due to his escape to Argentina with good SS buddies Eichman and Rudel, until Eichmans capture by MOSAD. Mengele then fled to Paraguay and died of natural causes in 1979. He was an unrepentant Nazi to the end and rumors of his cloning of Hitler sparked the fiction film Boys of Brazil. It is unfortunate that science and politics have so many war references, but it is their war on truth that we have been forced to fight.

Now back to the SECOND worst science of all time, Climatology and today’s news. Reporter, Suzanne Goldenberg of that guardian of stupidity, the Guardian Newspaper, reported that FINALLY climate scientists were fighting back against skepticism. This article followed last week’s puff piece on Schwarzenegger Der Governator which, for a moment, made Goldenberg appear to be a legitimate target.

Researching this former front line war correspondent, it became apparent that the message was plenty and the messenger was thus spared. Her left wing bonafides qualify for a future attack, but for now just a few barbs for her inflated idols. Suzanne wrote a biography of the 2008 Hillary primary belly flop called “Madam Presidentâ€

Cars, Cattle and Ethanol

Why are emissions from cattle eating grain classed as bad whereas emissions from cars burning grain ethanol are good?

Consider a paddock of corn. Most of the carbon in the growing plant comes from carbon dioxide in the air and is converted to plant material using solar energy via the magic of photosynthesis. Some comes from the atmosphere via microbes in the soil.
This plant material, either biomass or grain, can be fed to cattle or made into ethanol for motor fuel.

Both cattle and cars then use an internal digestion/combustion process to extract the energy stored in the plant material.

Both processes produce gaseous emissions. In cars, virtually every atom of ethanol carbon burnt produces one molecule of carbon dioxide. In cattle, some of the plant’s carbon is stored for a while in flesh and bones, and the rest is emitted as the natural gases carbon dioxide and methane. This methane is soon oxidised in the atmosphere to produce carbon dioxide.

Over the life of a car or a cow, they both produce the same carbon emissions. Every atom of carbon extracted from the air by the green plant eventually returns to the atmosphere as carbon dioxide, the plant food. This is the cycle of life.

It is therefore scientific incompetence or deliberate fraud by government climate alarmists to claim that consuming ethanol in cars is good and should be subsidised but consuming the same plant material in cows must be rationed and taxed.

An ethanol industry propped up by subsidies and mandates is not sustainable. This industry damages taxpayers and pushes up the cost of grains, beef, pork, eggs, milk and cereals.

Subsidising ethanol brings no environmental benefits and is the enemy of the poor and hungry of the world. Its special privileges should be immediately removed.
