MEXICO CITY (CNN) — General Motors will suspend operations at three of its four plants in Mexico early next year as part of a production cut at its North American plants, company sources said Friday.

The plants — in Silao, Guanajuato; Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila; and San Luis Potosi, the latter of which opened in July — will shut for two to six weeks during the first three months of the year, the sources said.

The plant known as Ramos Arizpe 2, where HHRs and Captivas are produced, will halt production for six weeks during January and February, the sources said.

Well, GM better consider getting their tushes back to this country before they go begging for taxpayer dollars to support their operations all over the world. This country has no money. We are running deficits with all the free trade crap and borrowing like hell just to keep ourselves afloat. As far as I am concerned, as GM makes most of its money selling cars made outside this country.
It seems that what is good for GM is no longer good for the country.

Awwwww.......Mexicans being put out of work in their own country due to the economic crisis they almost single handedly created in this one?

I find that this amuses me
