Barack Obama has one election still to win before he moves into the White House, and by all accounts he’s a shoo-in. The Electoral College – that curious body created by the Founders to put one extra check on the popular vote – meets Dec. 15 to elect the president.

But across the US, a small band of Americans convinced that Mr. Obama is not a natural-born citizen, as the Constitution requires of presidents, are lobbying Democratic electors to take one last look at the notion that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii.

The idea that Democratic electors would deny Obama the presidency strains the bounds of credulity. But the lobbying campaign points to the endurance of conspiracy theories pertaining to US presidents – and revives longstanding questions about the Electoral College itself.

Strange how the MSM only picks up the story to label the questions about obama as the work of CTs and how "most people" have no concerns about his legitimacy as president or his strange behavior in refusing to put the matter to rest himself

Truthful don't think many people care or concern themselves with the constitution nor understand what it means in a few short years we could elect an illegal for president if he looks good on TV.

And if Obama does not release his long form Hawaii birth certificate---the one with the doctor and Hawaii birth hospital names on it----by Jan. 20, 2009, swearing-in day, then let's keep this petition running for the next four years until the presidential campaigns of 2012, when surely Obama will finally have to release his Hawaii long form birth certificate, or he won't be allowed to run in any of the primaries like he was allowed to run in 2008.

Remember, a one term President is a weak President. So, a one term President Obama is a weak President Obama.

I WILL PRAY THAT THE "SMALL BAND OF AMERICANS" who are convinced that Obama isnt a natural born citizen, can make the electors see the light.

Obama is already ACTING like he is president. The MSM is treating him like he is a god and everything he touches turns to gold.
