GOP Attempts Historic $2.5 Trillion Cut in Federal Spending
GOP Attempts Historic $2.5 Trillion Cut in Federal Spending

By David A. Patten
Buoyed by their successful vote to repeal healthcare reform, conservative House Republicans on Thursday rolled out plans for a massive, $2.5 trillion cut in federal spending over the next 10 years.
Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio
The proposal, to be contained in the Spending Reduction Act of 2011, would reset non-security discretionary spending to 2008 levels, affecting everything from state stimulus money to federal involvement in mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, to foreign aid, education, transportation, scientific research and over 100 other federal programs.

Good for starters, desolve DHS which is worthless, thats saves untold Billions, next cut funding for Ethnic based groups that saves Hundreds of millions, cut off all funding to the U.N. plus serve eviction notice for them to move to Europe where they belong, i could go on and on

GO REPUBLICANS! GET R DONE!
Now also pass the FairTax and eiiminate the IRS which saves another $14 billion plus a year, and legalize, regulate and tax the illegal drug trade which saves another $70 billion a year and earns $70 billion in new revenue every single year.
It makes no sense to freeze wages and salaries of existing federal workers, especially those in the bottom tiers earning less than the average but live and work in high cost of living areas while wasting $14 billion a year on a tax collection agency that isn't needed when we have FairTax legislation on the table that turns federal tax collection over to retail businesses and the states who are compensated based on their collection results. Send the IRS and DEA workers to the states to look for jobs enforcing US immigration law and deporting illegal aliens.
