    Gore heckled at climate speech

    BOCA RATON

Former Vice President Al Gore's global-warming speech Saturday night at Mizner Park drew about a thousand attendees, as well as more than 200 loud protesters.

Stationed outside the Mizner Park Amphitheater, the protesters jeered at Gore as he took the podium and at those walking into the open-air venue to listen to the speech.

"This is the most dangerous crisis we've ever faced," Gore said of climate change. He spoke over a chorus of boos from protesters, who were monitored by at least a dozen uniformed city police officers.

Many of the protesters were with the groups Collegians for a Constructive Tomorrow and South Florida Tea Party, the latter of which feels that Gore's views will eventually lead to increased taxes and flawed business legislation.

The protesters carried drums, bullhorns and posters. One read "Practice what you preach," accusing Gore of not living a green lifestyle. Another poster read "The masses follow the asses," depicting the protesters' opinion that Gore's message is not backed by scientific evidence.

Gore, meanwhile, in his presentation laid out data that he said was compiled by the world's leading scientists and supports the theory of global warming. The speech carried much of the same content and rhythm as Gore's Oscar-winning 2006 documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, which turned him into a leading international voice on the issue of climate change.

Gore's latest book on the subject, titled Our Choice, was published earlier this month.

Gore is nothing but a flim-flam man, no different than those con-men street hustlers in New York City than play shell games on the street or sell fake rolex watches. He has become a complete joke and has no credibility now.

Gore ,as far as I am concerned was a nobody until he declared "GLOBAL WARMING". Groups and industries alike have been ,for years, working on ways to cut down on so called greenhouse gasses. Why do we need treaties to do more. Oh! I forgot. More tax money into their pockets!

And is this guy going to stop volcanoes from erupting?

And we are still'VERY DEPENDENT "on oil!

There are still a lot of scientists that believe this is just another phase in the life of the earth..

Global warming is a real problem but not happening quite as fast as some alarmists would have us believe. There is also a vested interest which is attempting to completely dismiss the problem. Gore is losing people with the shrillness of his delivery.

Gore does have an excellent record as far as immigration.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Seen a show on the Science channel about Global Warming, its based on Solar Radiation and the earth has gone threw warming cycles before based on solar radiation cycles, it has little or nothing to do with carbon dioxide output, atleast that's what these scientist said.

One of the courses I took in university was earth sciences and I had a professor who was active in the field. He goes to various conferences and lectures and does presentations in some. He told us that the earth always had warming and cooling cycles but he did say it happeining a lttle quicker than it did in the past.

For all it's worth, the world has warmed and cooled all by it's self without any help from us in the past. A good little documentary on the subject is here:

    http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=g ... g+swindle#

Our planet's temperature is subject to what happens with the sun. During times of high solar activity, aka solar flares, the earth gets warmer. More flares mean more solar winds. More solar winds mean less cosmic rays interacting with the water vapor in the atmosphere, which means less cloud cover. Hence warmer temperatures. But the the studies of ice core data show that CO2 has never driven temperature. It's the other way around. CO2 lags behind temperature by an aberage of 800 years. Because most of the CO2 on earth is in the world's oceans. And they are so vast and deep that it takes them long periods of time to warm and cool.

From 1300 to 1850 the sun was very inactive, and the world enterred into what is called the "Little Iceage". Before that there was a period called the "Medievel Optimum", where vineyards flourished as far north as York in England, which is 300 miles further north than now. The average temperature globally is estimated that it was 4 degrees F warmer than today. And if one goes back about 8,000 years there is a period called the Holocene Maximum" where the average global temperature is estimated to have been 7 degrees F warmer than it is today. There weren't industries and automobiles then, so it can't be blamed on human intervention. Also, volcanoes alone worldwide outpace human CO2 alone. So does rotting vegetation and autumn leaves.

But the upside of more CO2 in the atmosphere, is more, and healthier fauna. Everything that is "green" grows because of CO2. Take it away, or reduce the ammount of it in the atmosphere, and trees and everything else that depend on it don't do so well.

That's what I've been able to deduce.

Also, don't trust the U.N.'s IPCC. The U.N. is the greatest anti-American organization out there. So for them, turning this into a political issue, is only to help tear us down. And that's where most of the propaganda comes from.

Anyone remember when Earth was a big ball of Lava?
    Me neither.

Before mankind had the ability to extinguish forest fires, there was smoke that would cool off the planet somewhat. Those same particles, caused long periods of rain. Cooling the surface even more.

Swings in temperature of the Northern Hemisphere can be documented. We are coming out of the heat generating cycle into a cooling cycle. The Southern Hemisphere is totally in it's own hot and cold cycles as well, that can be totally opposite ours.

The world keeps changing. There was a point in time where they had a climate similar to south France's in England and they used to grow grapes. I am sure there are other examples of that out there. It is interesting what you learn from the series How the Earth was Made on the History Channel.

Carbon Dioxide irrelevant in climate debate says MIT Scientist
    August 18, 7:39 AM
    Portland Civil Rights Examiner
    Dianna Cotter

In a study sure to ruffle the feathers of the Global Warming cabal, Professor Richard Lindzen of MIT has published a paper which proves that IPCC models are overstating by 6 times, the relevance of CO2 in Earth’s Atmosphere. Dr. Lindzen has found that heat is radiated out in to space at a far higher rate than any modeling system to date can account for.

Editorial: The science is in. the scare is out. Recent papers and data give a complete picture of why the UN is wrong.

The pdf file located at the link above from the Science and Public Policy Institute has absolutely, convincingly, and irrefutably proven the theory of Anthropogenic Global Warming to be completely false.

Professor Richard Lindzen of MIT’s peer reviewed work states “we now know that the effect of CO2 on temperature is small, we know why it is small, and we know that it is having very little effect on the climate.â€
