A Tale of Two Scandals

After weeks of uncovered abuses at Veterans Affairs hospitals across the country, V.A. Secretary Eric Shinseki has finally stepped down. It was found that veterans were being required to wait… and wait… and wait for treatment, until death made it no longer necessary. They were never actually scheduled for appointments. According to a whistleblower report from Texas, this was done to cover up how long patients were being required to wait for care, as shorter waiting periods meant monetary bonuses for V.A. officials. Who says greed does not exist within the government-run healthcare system?

The outcry was swift and certain, and it came from both Republicans and Democrats, as well as veterans advocacy groups and the general public. Shinseki’s resignation was the proper course of action, but President Obama deserves no credit because he himself did not have the balls to fire Shinseki. After all, that would have required him to to man up and make a decision. It was also found that Obama was briefed about the travails of the V.A. shortly after taking office in 2009. In fact, he campaigned on reforming the long-defective agency in 2008, but we all know what his campaign promises are worth. Perhaps President Obama should step down too.


Another ‘08 presidential candidate who campaigned on improving the Veterans Affairs healthcare system was Hillary Clinton. We have not heard a peep out of her regarding the current scandal. In fact, her silence has been deafening. Could it be that Clinton does not want to risk being publically reminded that she too is responsible for American deaths?


Can you imagine the uproar if Shinseki had asked “What difference does it make?” when confronted by reporters or a Congressional committee? Yet, many of the Democrats who have been calling for him to vacate his position are the same people who have been bending over backwards to protect Hillary Clinton from further investigation.


During World War II, an American from Ohio named Mildred Elizabeth Gillars, aka “Axis Sally”, gave aid to the Germans by broadcasting Nazi propaganda. “Al Qaeda Hillary” not only gave aid to our enemies in the form of taxpayer money to the Muslim Brotherhood, but this treasonous fossilized hag also tasked an al Qaeda splinter group, Ansar al Sharia, with guarding the consulate in Benghazi… the same group who claimed responsibility for the attack.


While U.S. veterans waited for medical care from the V.A., Americans in service in Libya waited for a rescue that never came. The call that did come was to YouTube, to craft the political spin, even as the attack was taking place.


“Axis Sally” was eventually convicted of treason and served over 10 years in prison. “Al Qaeda Hillary” has not only never been indicted for criminal negligence in the deaths of 4 Americans, including an ambassador, but she has been anointed as the Democrats’ next presidential nominee by the political pundits and the mainstream media. Incidentally, it is not only the liberal power players who have been heaping praise upon Clinton. On September 10, 2013, the eve of the first anniversary of the Benghazi attack, former Florida governor and “anointed” Republican presidential nominee, Jeb Bush, presented Hillary Clinton with the Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center. This is an act for which Jeb Bush should also be held accountable, should he decide to run.


If Hillary Clinton had been a man, it can be easily assumed that she would have faced far greater consequences for her role in the Benghazi attack, but the “mansogynists” are unconcerned with how many bodies are left by the wayside on the road to the White House… as long as it is a pair of liberal ovaries that ends up there.
