Beware of Closet Liberals Running As Republicans in 2010

In these times, I think it's vitally important that despite our regional differences, we should band together to help support candidates that are Constitutionally minded and not just more of the same - Fake Republicans and Washington insiders . For instance, I reside in NY and unfortunately for me, I am presently stuck with Schumer who will probably get in again as I haven't even heard of anyone running against him.

But my residence will not prevent me from helping other states out and supporting their candidates (who fit the same criteria), either by small donations or by helping to spread the word as I am doing now.

I am supporting Rand Paul in KY and hope that the good people of Kentucky will do the same. I didn't know too much about his opponent, Trey Grayson, but when I did a little research, I think I may have tapped into a whole can of worms! Without question, this guy is a RINO, and what I have discovered gave me the creeps. He is NOT what he pretends to be and I hope the following info will give people some further insight.

First off, Rand Paul was recently criticized for his recent money bomb because many of the donations came from out of state. It's legal but it didn't all come from Kentuckians. At least the money came from average Americans! Whereas Grayson is set to have 2 major fundraisers courtesy of 23 GOP Senators (IS THAT ETHICAL??) and a DC Lobbyist group. Gee I wonder where his loyalties will lie?

    GOP Fundraiser:

Twenty-three GOP Senators — including Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, the Bluegrass State’s senior Senator — are hosting a $500 per person fundraiser for Grayson at National Republican Senatorial Committee headquarters Sept. 23.

    Here are the 23 Senators:

0/01/08 Vote on Financial Bailout Bill
    (S. Amdt. 5685 to H.R. 1424)

    Alexander (TN) - Yea
    Bennett (UT) - Yea
    Bond (MO) - Yea
    Burr (NC) - Yea
    Chambliss (GA) - Yea
    Coburn (OK) - Yea
    Cochran (MS) - Nay
    Collins (ME) - Yea
    Cornyn (TX) - Yea
    Crapo (ID) - Nay
    Enzi (WY) - Nay
    Grassley (IA)- Yea
    Hatch (UT) - Yea
Johanns (NE) - didn't vote, freshman in 11/08
    Isakson (GA) - Yea
    Kyl (AZ) - Yea
    McConnell (KY) - Yea
    Mccain (AZ) - Yea
    Murkowski (AK) - Yea
    Sessions (AL) - Nay
    Thune (SD) - Yea
    Vitter (LA) - Nay
    Voinovich (OH) - Yea
Rand vs Trey - Who should a US citizen support?

    Some conservatives wary of Grayson

Then there's another fundraiser by what appears to be a DC lobbyist group: http://www.thec2group.com/

C2 GROUP FUNDRAISER FOR TREY GRAYSON:
    welcome to c2 group

Navigating the New World of Washington.

c2 group provides a broad range of bipartisan government affairs consulting services to meet the needs of our diverse client base including Fortune 100 and 500 companies in a wide range of industries and business sectors, governments, banks, insurance and financial institutions, professional firms, foundations, institutions, associations and individuals. c2 group, LLC is a Virginia limited liability corporation based in Washington, DC operating as a government affairs consulting firm employing registered lobbyists representing clients before the Congressional and Executive branches of the federal government.

Now we get down to something that Grayson has been affiliated with and in which he boasts about on his website - The Aspen Institute.

Aspen is headed by Walter Isaacson, the former Chairman and CEO of CNN and the Managing Editor of Time Magazine. Aspen participates in something called the Ethical Globalization Initiative (EGI), headed by former U.N. official Mary Robinson, who calls the International Criminal Court, which could prosecute and imprison U.S. citizens, a "great legal enterprise." Isaacson serves on the EGI board, along with global tax supporter Jeffrey Sachs, an adviser to U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

    From Greyson's website: http://sos.ky.gov/secdesk/biography.htm

Secretary Grayson has been recognized as one of the top new leaders in the United States. In 2005, he was selected for the inaugural class of the Aspen-Rodel Fellowships in Public Leadership which recognizes the nation’s top young elected officials.....

The Aspen Institute is largely funded by foundations such as the Carnegie Corporation, The Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Ford Foundation, by seminar fees, and by individual donations. Its board of trustees includes leaders from politics, government, business and academia who also contribute to its support. Walter Isaacson is currently President and CEO..

The Business and Society Program is dedicated to developing leaders for a sustainable "global society" NEW ORLD ORDER??

Check out the Board of Trustees:

A member of this class was none other than GOP head Michael Steele!!

Are these institutes attempting to infiltrate the GOP with possible Marxists??

    Others include:

Aspen's director of communications is Jim Spiegelman, a former "special assistant" to Soros.

Soros has been a featured speaker at the Aspen Summer Benefit dinner at the Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado. The Hotel Jerome is Aspen's "crown jewel." Rooms go for anywhere from $636 -$1390 a night.

Arjun Gupta, a member of the Aspen board of overseers, serves as a Vice President at The Chatterjee Group, an investment advisor to Soros and his Soros Fund Management group.

In 2004, Aspen hosted "America's Role in the Fight Against Global Poverty," a seminar featuring Al Gore and George Soros.

JUST WHAT KIND OF REPUBLICAN IS TREY GRAYSON????

I think it's time that we personally reserach these candidates before we go out and blindly vote for them.

So please throw your support over to Rand Paul. A true Conservative, and NOT a Washington Insider. Check out his latest video - especially at the end where he says " 20% of those who get health insurance are not in this country legally. So we're gonna transform our healthcare system for people who broke the law to come to our country in the first place??

Please donate, support and spread the word:

    Thank you!

I agree that we will, almost undoubtedly, see a surge of wolves masquarading as the sheep.

This is one of the reason why we need a new third party to take shape.

Of course, this is going to take one heck of a cohesive effort......on the part of the American voter so that we don't witness another fractured coalition such as we saw with the last election.

And, perhaps most importantly, among those desiring to hold office themselves for the sake of returning our government to it's Constitutional roots and working in our best interests.

Ideally, we'll see all of those from the various "other" parties, in addition to those of the dem and republican parties who have NOT sold out and want to jump ship......... be able to agree to consolidate their principles and core visions into a formidable party with the ability to break the vicious cycle of the two party system.
