The Decline- Geography of a Recession
Got this in an email this morning from someone in Phoenix, if you hit the play button is progresses through the years to May 2010
If you want to see how the country is slowly being brought to it’s knees due to the amount of people that have found themselves without income to provide for themselves or their families… i.e. unemployed, take a look at this map. It shows how the unemployment rate has dramatically increased since January 2007. The old saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words" has never been more applicable.
The darker the color, the higher the unemployment. This is a startling map and reveals a few things. Not just the amount of people unemployed, but the reliance on government support that will become direct consequence!
Makes you wonder what’s coming next…
