Hospital Unions
I work at a university hospital in California. I like Ron Paul and have voiced that I was against illegal immigration at work. Normally I never talk about things like this at work. Other people are also not in favor of illegal immigration. However, I am white and such talk by a white person is not tolerated. A woman in my office reported me. I believe now it was the Union I was reported to. I feel everone has been interviewed in my immediate work area and no basis to fire me was found. (Personally I would prefer to have been fired.) The Hispanic people have all changed and give me unfriendly looks now. Perhaps there is some sort of study to figure out why people like me think like they do. Other people of other nationalities treat me the same. No one has said anything to me, and no one will tell me anything. It is strange. I know I sound paranoid. I just won't go on because who believes any of this anyway?
Before this I would not have joined and donated to an organization like this. So maybe all things happen for a purpose.

Welcome Anne! I feal your pain. I worked in the construction industry for 30 years and just could not get ahead because of the influx of cheap UNSKILLED labor doing skilled jobs. I saw the quality of workmanship diminished as well as the compensation. I finally succumbed to osteoarthritis and had to quit construction work all together. I now have a part time job at barely more than minimum wage in the retail business and see so many illegals come in that can't speak English and are appalled that we don't have anyone in the store that can translate for them. We need to get the traitorous politicians out of office and put true patriots in their positions. If we don't, I'm afriad that we are headed for another civil war.
Never give up! Never surrender! Never compromise your values!*

Russian bombers land in Venezuela

The Tu-160s will stay for several days
Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez says two Russian bombers have arrived in the country to carry out training flights.
The Russian Air Force said the bombers would be based in Venezuela for several days and fly over neutral waters.
Earlier this week Russia confirmed that it would send a Navy squadron and long- range patrol planes for joint exercises with Venezuela in November.
Mr Chavez has developed close relations with Moscow, including the purchase of Russian arms and co-operation on oil.
Hugo Chavez announced that two Tu-160 bombers would carry out manoeuvres, saying that it was part of a move towards a "multi-polar world".
"I'm going to fly one of those beasts," he joked.

Chavez: Ready to fly
"The Yankee hegemony is finished," he added.
A Russian defence ministry spokesman confirmed that the planes had flown to Venezuela, adding that they were escorted by Nato fighters as they flew across the Atlantic.
The planes are capable of carrying nuclear missiles, but the spokesman did not give any information about whether they were carrying arms during this mission.
President Chavez has backed Russia's military operations in Georgia, and said that he is interested in buying Russian submarines.

Welcome....I have learned a long time ago that you keep quiet at work.... I have one lady at work that made a comment to me a while back and now she is on my e-mail list of recipiants for all the articles that I forward from this and other sites.... I am the "supplier" of info for my friends living in California...South Dakota...Wyoming..New York ... Texas ...Colorado and here in Nevada.
Otherwise I don't say anything... I need my job....
I want to welcome you to this site....this is one of the best as far as always up to date and info from across the U.S....The people here are informed and you find out who /where to call ////When I moved here to Nevada 2 years ago...I didn't even know who my Senators where...or even knowing how to contact them.. By knowing who to call...when to call..and what to say...we are making a big difference ....
Welcome and happy to have you here...we will need all the help we can get in the coming months/yearsThe difference between an immigrant and an illegal alien is the equivalent of the difference between a burglar and a houseguest. Feel your pain but I'm with grandmasmad.......I learned a long time ago to keep to myself and stay neutral in work situations. Makes it tough because it's almost impossible to not go beyond work related topics when you spend so many hours in a day with these people. But one slight remark is enough to cause issues. I know people were fired from my ex's work concerning a holiday. I lived in Florida at the time and they alternated Presidents Day with Martin Luther Kings birthday. In this particular year it was Presidents Day being given off......but a new crew of blacks started crying racism and someone, white of course, made a comment back about waiting till next year and then they'll cry racism and who the heck do they think they are......and the white guys were fired for racism, while the blacks had nothing done. I also found that when push comes to shove ...... your "buddies" will hang you out to dry before risking their jobs even defending you.
Now that we have a high unemployment rate....it is going to get worse and worse. My husband now, was in meetings where supervisors were supposed to engage employees in hot topics to weed out potential employee problems.
They had a factory here where they were hiring alot of Spanish speakers and it was causing difficulties and the owners wouldn't do anything. Many of the whites were of Polish decent and instead of speaking in English.....they started talking in Polish, which infuriated the Spanish speakers because they didn't know what was being said. (Which proves they DO know more than they let on.).....and the Polish speakers were written up, but the Spanish speakers weren't. And trust me.....they will stoop to any level to get you tossed off the job to make room for their own......real or imagined, one slight comment or a general attitude, serious or not and there are those ready to jump.
On a funny hospital note, my ex works at one and he was charged with indecent exposure because he was squatting and fixing something on the floor and his butt crack was exposed. He's older and made some smart crack back of how he never realized so many women were looking at his rear end.....and well that turned into sexism and the whole nine yards and he's walking a tightrope now as well......you just never know where the vultures are or at what lows they will stoop to.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I don't like this 'ass-kissy' garbage anymore than anyone else does, but I can really feel the electricity in the air that something is about to happen. True American Patriots need all the paychecks they can get and should look at work that way.

Welcome Anne, and don't feel bad as I a few years ago did the same thing. With a new boss, who thought Dubai buying a major interest in our shipping ports was a great idea. Couldn't keep my mouth shut about precious American dollars going to foreign countries. From that point on it was political sniping, with him gauging me as a liberal, and my assignments were all of a sudden getting more and more fluffy and, in my mind worthless. I finally quit as the continual need to defend myself from his stinging commentaries (within the hearing of everyone else) about everything I did was way beyond what that paycheck was worth.
Keep your head high, do the job you do to the best of your ability, and don't worry about what coworkers think. Most of those giving dirty looks, whether they are here legally or not, are probably doing some aiding and abetting of more illegals in their families or ethnic group.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Welcome Anne. Don't let them get to you, that's the way they operate - intimidation tactics. There are alot of hispanics that are against illegal immigration but won't speak out because of retaliation.
Keep a smile on your face and don't get into confrontations with these people, they are not interested in an honest discourse.
Just keep emailing, calling and faxing your elected officials to demand enforcement of immigration laws. Call ICE and report any known illegal aliens employed by your company. Everyone is entitled to have opinions even if some people disagree. The problem is, Americans are being programmed from an early age that its racist to complain about illegal immigrants.
I've learned not to bring up illegal immigration with co-workers, even if they act like they are your best friend. And at work, NEVER put your opinions in emails or on paper!RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends
