Thread: Housing Crisis caused by Illegal Aliens NOT buying homes

In the past U.S. Citizens built and then BOUGHT the houses they built, according to the Tampa Tribune up to 75% of construction workers are now aliens, legal or illegal, the result is that instead of supporting and growing our economy by buying and living in the houses they built they now invest their money in OTHER COUNTRIES, by sending billions 'home' to possibly buy a house there.

If even half of the 20-30 million illegal aliens in America bought the houses they profited from building we would NOT have a housing crisis.
Just like our high gas prices are caused by our unresponsive government refusing to allow us to drill for OUR oil the governments refusal to obey the Constitution and enforce our laws is the REAL cause of the housing crisis!

I do agree that illegal migration has an effect on almost everything that happens in this country, the housing crisis is allot more complicated than what you suggest. I am aware there are many factors contributing to the housing crisis, however, one of those factors being IGNORED is the impact of aliens not investing in the houses they build since up to 75% of the construction workforce is now alien and sends much of their money 'home' instead of buying and living in homes they manufacture.
The impact of the billions of dollars sent out of the country instead of investing in the country is part of the problem, if nothing else it devalues our dollar and contributes to inflation when our money gets sent to another countries economy instead of being reinvested here.

The fact the 'builders' have made tremendous profits by hiring cheaper alien labor and overbuilt the market because it appeared, with the artificial increase in population caused by illegal immigration, that the market could bear the increased inventory, but illegal aliens don't buy here!

One of the arguments AGAINST deportation is that it would hurt our economy by having a smaller market base, let me educate builders, if you build houses using foreign labor don't expect them to buy a house here, you just helped them buy a house in whatever country they came from, how does that justify the increase in building that contributed to this crisis? It sure helps the housing industry in OTHER COUNTRIES though, shouldn't this contribution to other economies be filed under foreign aide?

Maybe the 'old fashioned way' of the 50's and 60's should be looked at as an example of how to make America work, hire Americans to build American houses so they can BUY American houses and support the builders they work for, the first step is to STOP HIRING ALIENS so they will spend their money here instead of Iran.

Sorry, ain't buying it.
