    I was rooting for David Cook! David Archuleta is good, but sounds like Kermit the Frog.....started to get on my nerves.

    Hey Gogo, I can't ever wait until the show, so I always try to find out beforehand and I already knew the answer before I clicked on your thread. I was shocked that DC won and I think it's great! I'll definitely buy his CD and go to his concerts. Fun stuff.

    This is the first season that I thought I would be OK with either one, but I do feel that DC is older and has better command of the stage. DA was really great though for only 17. This season was the best. Last year was a disaster and the year before seemed to fixed. They say the ratings were even lower this year than last. Interesting considering the talent.

    I think just like any other show that is on season after season, eventually the public gets burned out and shifts interest to something else. I agree this season was very good.

    My kids told me as soon as I got home and they actually recorded it for me to watch! They said it was a really good show this time. My youngest really likes DC.

    Oh, and they also recorded LOU DOBBS for me, too!

    Do I have great kids, or what?
