An estimated two million Americans have already lost their existing health care coverage, despite the president’s repeated promise that if you like your plan, you can keep it.

Tonight on The Kelly File, Megyn Kelly spoke to Ian and Sara Hodge, a couple who will lose their plan effective January 1, 2014. Ian said he had no idea his plan would be canceled until they received a letter. “We felt betrayal,” he told Kelly.

What Happens If Americans Don't Sign Up for Health Insurance?

Ian attempted multiple times to sign in to the exchanges and view the plans. It wasn’t until this past week, when healthcare.gov allowed people to see the policies without signing in, that he was able to view his options. He believes he’ll have to pay up to 50 percent more for coverage.

“We can’t keep our health care, we’re not sure if we can keep our doctors and we’re not sure if we can keep our hospital,” he said, making a personal plea to the president to change the law.
