One of the fastest growing industries in the world is based on a pyramid of frauds and its inevitable collapse will be worse than the sub-prime crash.

The Global Warming Industry is now fed by billions of dollars from western taxpayers and consumers. It is based on the unproven and now discredited claim that man’s production of carbon dioxide causes dangerous global warming.

The basic fraud is this:

There is no evidence that carbon dioxide controls world temperature – just a theory and the manipulated results from a handful of giant computer models that very few people have checked or understand. But there is clear evidence from historical records of atmospheric carbon dioxide and temperature that carbon dioxide does not control temperature. Rather the reverse – as solar or volcanic heat warms the oceans, the waters expel carbon dioxide. Global warming causes an increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide, not the reverse.

I'm no lawyer, but it just seemed to me that it is RACKETEERING UNDER RICO. I've been writing my congresscritters about that!

One could say the exact same stuff about those denying Global Warming. They can't prove anything, the "evidence" they have can also easily be discredited, and they generally all have major backers of the companies that are considered major carbon emitters.

Now look at what we know. The world is warming up, that can't be denied and there is solid proof of that we all can agree on. The disagreement is why is it happening, is it from mans intervention or just the natural cycle repeating itself. There is significant evidence to suggest global warming is sped up by man and there is significant evidence showing that natural disasters create just as much or more carbon emissions then produced by a large number of the said industries that create serious carbon emissions, such like a volcano or a natural started forest fire in a dry climate. On both sides some far claims have been made such as supporters of the Global Warming idea saying just 1-2 degrees could cause a massive ecological disaster sounds a bit far fetched but 5 degrees... maybe. The other side has some as well also.

We do know in a controlled environment if we add carbon emissions it gets warmer, we know that as scientific fact. However we cannot gauge if it works the same as the earths atmosphere for 100% fact and other uncalculable factors.

In the end both sides have flaws and evidence to support them. It really needs to be a persons informed choice to deside what they support and with what is there its really silly to cry foulplay and say its all 100% fraud and made up.

What we should be able to agree on is we do know carbon emissions even w/o global warming is dangerous to peoples health. We do know for whatever reason the earth is heating up as well. Now IF doing this has even the potential to make life safer around the world or just your city and also helps us be a bit more economically friendly who can really complain?

Syanis, No one denies that CLIMATE CHANGES. It always has. One point you didn't mention is THE SUN, and the earth's orbit, as well as the change in said orbit over thousands of years.

Please, for you and your family's sake watch the Crime, Inc. series, as well as the below, acknowledgement by Joel Rogers, WHO HELPED WRITE THE LEGISLATION, say, IN HIS OWN WORDS, that even if they shut down our entire economy, IT WON'T WORK. This is proven by years of 'cap and tax' type legislation in the EU and Spain, which nation Obama is always talking about as a great example of how wonderful 'green' jobs are, when the proof is the opposite. Another lie.

Why are they pushing this legislation and 'CARBON EXCHANGES'? FOLLOW THE MONEY. It's all about making a few people extraordinarily wealthy, redistribution of wealth and bringing in GLOBAL GOV'T. The words 'global gov't' show up for the first time in recorded history in the UNFCCC. IMHO, if the criminal actions, proved by the exposure of the CLIMATEGATE emails, PRIOR to the meeting in Copenhagen, that treaty WOULD HAVE BEEN SIGNED IN COPENHAGEN, and we would already have lost our sovereignty.

Please listen to me. I have NO stocks at all, so do not benefit at all in any of this. I don't want my children and grandchildren to live under a totalitarian Socialist world gov't, with NO U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. I want the same freedoms for you and yours. That's the bottom line. Don't listen to anyone. Do your own research. Start with Crime, Inc., as that series will give you a lot of starting points.

On 2nd thought, I'd like to add this:

Let the FREE MARKET work. You see, even those of us who know about the scam, don't believe that nothing needs to be done about man's contribution. For example, I carry totes with me so I don't need plastic bags, I recycle, my family bought low water use toilets, clothes washer, dishwasher, etc. You see, we also want a good environment.

When some entrepreneur, designs improved gadgets, cars, engines, etc., and it's proven it works, WE WILL BUY IT!

LET THE FREE MARKET WORK.

It just shouldn't be that gov't controls what we can buy, controls the energy we use, takes our tax money to give to 'green' people, thus choosing who wins and who fails.

For example, the US is banding with RUSSIA, on our 'smart grid'. And Russia is getting 50% of our uranium in Wyoming, and China is getting 8 acres of Texas for a wind farm. Our water is being sold in huge amts to other countries. Were you aware of that? EXCUSE ME?

The last action of a tyrranical gov't is to raid the treasury. Sounds like the gov't is selling us off.

I would say they are all enemies of the State...
