Are the birds in one piece? It could be birds that were used in religious ceremonies. I know we had problems in Miami with discarded animal carcasses. In the religion of santaria they kill the animals for sacrifices and posiibly curses as well. Their spirits tell them where the must discard the carcasses and those orders must be followed or else you are cursed. I think voo doo also uses animals. Another odd item Cubans, Haitians and others from the islands brought.

I remember that case regarding the skull. It was actually in Broward County. All I thought of is if she got caught how many others were successful in their attempts.

During the last year of living in Pompano Beach before I moved, my family and I saw dead birds in our yard. No, they weren't shot or mauled or poisoned. We sometimes sighted birds that were alive, but very inactive. They were very sickly looking. We reported some, but no one came out to the house. I disposed of one once with a fishing net and just placed the whole thing in the trash.
