Obama Administration Intends to Purge Republicans From the Civil Service

Remember how the Democrats reacted when the Bush Administration started replacing U.S. Attorneys? At least they were actually political appointees employed at the will and whim of the President.

Barack Obama is changing that. He intends to purge all Republicans from the federal bureaucracy retroactive to five years ago.

I think this is a great idea. These toads should not have been given cushy civil service jobs in the first place. In fact there probably should be a rule that staffers cannot immediately move into the civil service. It is already bloated enough. Best of all, once Obama sets the precedent, the next Republican president can do the same thing to all those Democrats that Obama funnels in, plus maybe make it retroactive to 2000 to catch all of
Clinton's appointees too.
