CANTON, NY – The election results certified by the St. Lawrence County Board of Elections for New York’s 23rd Congressional District contain some numbers that are mathematically impossible. These numbers were requested in person and transmitted by e-mail just hours before certification on Tuesday, November 24th, 2009.

For six election districts in St. Lawrence County (the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 7th districts in Canton, the 14th district in Massena, and the 2nd district in Oswegatchie) negative numbers appear in the column for “blankâ€

how can we have a democracy if we cannot know if the vote count is accurate? Exactly

How can you have negative numbers in a US election? This just doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Correct, it's supposed to be a Constitutional Republic. But more so an oligarchy is what has been thrust upon the people of America. Monied interests in control as usual.

jonhaloi, you are right, we are not a democracy. smile I was quoting the article, the real point is that the freedom that we have enjoyed cannot exist if we can't trust that are votes are being fairly counted and/or that the system of voting is not tampered with, etc.

That's correct ELE. The voting process with electronic voting machines can't be trusted. There was a part in America Freedom to Fascism that got into the electronic voting machines and either a Federal, or a State inquiry as to the ability to hack the machines via the software, and the makers of the software said that it was very easy to hack them if you know the software code, and manipulate the votes to come out the way you would want them to come out in favor of the person you want elected.

The best thing to do is avoid the electronic voting machine, and send in a paper ballot. At least that can't be physically tampered with in the same manner.

Anyone who thinks their vote matters (on a national level) is a fool. The Power Elite will not let something happen that they don't want to happen.
