It is the extremity of delving into others lives that I do not like because it is used for politcally for the sole purpose of dicrediting the "other side", not because they really care about moral values so much.

I do not condone adultry but I do not condone purposely trying to hurt someone for personal gain either. It is done far too much now-a-days and as said, it is also takes too much time away from more pressing issues. The public airing of skeletons goes on and on and on.... Balance in all things...

If our congress, and our country, had fewer adulterers, drunks, drug addicts, etc. we would be better off.

(Etc. covers a lot of things.)

I agree. It brings to mind the distasteful reports that our State Department was gathering "information" on foreign diplomats in order to basically blackmail them during negotiations. I feel that this information on Boehner probably comes from the same source.

But, it is OK for Barney Frank to sit on the commitee that oversees Freddie and Fannie and his partner to be employed there. It is OK for Maxine Waters to direct funds from TARP to a bank that her family has interests in and for Sheila Jackson Lee to rig scholarships for her family.

I am interested in what is good for the contry, not who someone may or may not have slept with, Bill Clinton desensitized me on that one.
