SO DOES THIS MEAN THAT NO ONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MISHANDLED, LOST OR STOLEN PROPERTY?

    WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS.

PROPERTY HANDLED BY FEDERAL PERSONNEL SHOULD BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THOSE HANDLING IT.

I KNOW THAT IS NOT THE SPECIFIC ISSUE IN THIS ARTICLE, BUT IT IS A SHODDY GOVERNMENT AGENCY THAT DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH SELF RESPECT TO PROPERLY HANDLE PROPERTY THAT COMES INTO THEIR POSSESSION.

WE LOST IT, WE DONT KNOW WHERE IT IS...IT WAS STOLEN. HEY REPLACE IT THEN. ALL PROPERTY SHOULD BE INVENTORIED AND HANDLED PROPERLY. ANY MISSING ITEMS SHOULD BE REPLACED OR PAID FOR. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS.....SORRY.

THE PERSONS HANDLING THE PROPERTY SHOULD NOT BE SUED FOR MORE THAN THE WORTH OF THE PROPERTY. BUT THEY SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE....FCOL.
